“Fantastic, helpful staff - well tested, when we arrived a day early by mistake , but smoothed over in an instant . If you are in town for books - you could not have a better location, easy to dash back with your bibliophile hauls .”

“Nice old historic building with the quirks of charms to go with it. The beds were very comfortable and the room had fans to help with the heat of the summer. Classic style pub attached to the property and a decent sized pub garden to go with it. Staff were very helpful and friendly throughout. I think this was the stand out part of the stay. Had the carvery on one of the night there and have to say it was superb. Would definitely consider stay here if in the area, or going to the Royal Welsh……

“Room was huge, very well maintained and spotlessly clean. Staff were all friendly & helpfull, making our stay very pleasant. Wifi didn't work but didn't affect us and only tiny criticism would be a lack of hooks/rails in the lovely bathroom, as there was nowhere to hang wet towels. ”
