「We have just returned from a couple of nights at Brewers Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and bigger than it seems from the photos. Foolow is convenient access to some lovely areas and walks in the Peak District, and just a 10-15 minute walk from the cottage is the local pub that does fabulous food and has very friendly staff. 「This was the perfect place for a long weekend away. The place was incredibly cozy, and provided a lovely place from rest and relaxation. The bathtub is AMAZING and the location was perfect - beautiful views all round, a lovely walk along a river, and a pub! It was nice to not be right in the centre of Bakewell but was still incredibly convenient. Highly recommend!」

Just round the corner from Heaton Park, which is a lovely bonus. If you want some autonomy and the ability to cook, this is fantastic, one of the best stays I have had and I travel a lot.」

「An excellent property, very homely, cosy and welcoming. Would definitely return. Found laundry basket, spare mattress covers and oven gloves in main bedroom. Not a great problem at all, but think these items were inadvertently left at the changeover clean. But this is not an important criticism - the property was wonderful.」
