Located 10 minutes from the charming village of Watkins Glen, Christine’s cabin is ideal for a couple’s getaway, this little gem runs right along the Seneca Lake Wine Trail. Although the cabin is not on the waterfront, you can enjoy the view of Seneca Lake in most any direction.

We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was clean, well equipped, and in a beautiful location. Sue and Henry were very accommodating and even restocked firewood while we were there. This is absolutely the place to stay when you are in the area and we will be back!

Beautiful place to stay while in the area. Far enough away that ots peaceful but close enough that you can go either direction and enjoy food, wine and beer. Owners was very nice and easy to deal with.

Amazing getaway

The cabin was so clean and the little neighborhood was so cute. 10 min from Watkins Glen and there are breweries and wineries all over the place ! Definitely recommend staying here !

Another Excellent Stay at Christine's Cabin

We stayed for 5 nights at Christine's Cabin to enjoy wineries and meet friends at Seneca Lake. This has become an annual event for us and we have stayed at this cabin for the last several years. It is an excellent location to explore wineries on Seneca and Keuka Lakes and see friends in the area.

This is a perfect get-away for a couple. Quiet and close to Seneca lake. What more do you need? Well, the wineries and breweries, and restaurants do help!

Cozy Cabin

We enjoyed having the cabin as home base for our exploration of the Finger Lakes region, and the area is quiet and private. The only thing that would be better is a clearer view of the lake itself. Overall, though, it was a great getaway!

The sweetest little cozy cabin!

Henry and Sue’s cabin is spotlessly clean, full of personal touches, and steps away from Seneca Lake and the most perfect sunsets you’ll ever see. It’s also located in truly the best spot in the Finger Lakes (all the major wineries you’d want to visit are on the road directly adjacent to the cabin). Check in was seamless, and my husband and I had the best weekend hiking, biking, having bonfires and sampling the local wines. Truly a hidden gem!

Perfect Little Spot

Very convenient place to stay. VRBO was tiny but that was expected. Perfect for the two of us, especially since we intended to use it only as a home base between activities like winery visits. Location was great. The host Sue was very kind and responsive! Neighbors were friendly!

Another great stay at Christine's Cabin

We stayed for another 4 nights at Christine's Cabin on Seneca Lake. This was our third or fourth time to rent this cabin (I've lost count). It is our go-to rental on Seneca Lake. Couldn't ask for a better location - central to wineries and easy access to Watkin's Glen as well. We will be back.

Small but nice

The cabin was clean and nice -- and just as advertised. We were there after Labor Day so there is no swimming at Smith Park (no lifeguard= no swimming). It is close to many wineries and everything Watkins Glen offers. The hosts were easy to reach and very responsive.

Our Favorite Place In the Finger Lakes

This is the third time my partner and I have stayed at Christine's Cabin, and we plan on returning again next year. First, its location is incredible; it's about a block from the lake and close to incredible hikes and wonderful wineries. The cabin itself is clean and uncluttered. They recently installed a mini-split unit which ensures that the cabin will remain a comfortable temperature regardless of the weather. The owners are friendly and communicative which makes the environment even more stress free. We can't wait to go back!

Perfect Birthday trip

We loved our stay at Christine's Cabin. All the comforts of home on one level. The cabin was clean and well-equipped. Made a campfire, (wood provided) our first night there and sat outside in the Adirondack rockers. We also cooked our dinner on the gas grill and ate on the patio. Lovely evening and so relaxing. The location was perfect. Close to Watkins Glen and many wineries in the area. The Finger Lakes distillery was right down the road with music on the patio. The cabin was a perfect place to relax after a day of hiking, waterfalls and wineries.

Jay and Lisa's Vacation

Perfect cottage for two people. Located in a quiet area. Learned a valuable lesson, if power goes out don't take it for granted that it will come back on soon. Get some ice. We ended up throwing out a $100.00 worth of food. Outside of that it was a very nice place, we enjoyed it.

Hidden Gem

What a great little cabin! You get the best of both worlds…a private wooded environment just steps from the shore of Seneca Lake. And wineries and breweries so close by! Sue and Henri do all they can to make you feel at home and avoid bringing half of your house by supplying linens, towels, and even fresh coffee and half and half! We spent 4 nights in the adorable place and felt like we were at home every night. Someone else wrote that the bed is hard…it is far from hard! Very comfortable (as long as your husband doesn’t take up the whole bed! Ha) We will return when the weather is more cooperative so we can put our jet ski in the water! Mel and Ty
