「It was a great little getaway, and we could imagine in summer it would be even nicer being able to enjoy the outdoor picnic spots by the pond. We arrived late in the day and were quite peckish, so enjoying a beautiful fresh loaf of bread, butter and cheese that greeted us when we arrived was lovely - along with a bottle of wine for later and a ginger beer for our young one. We had thought that our 4 were going to have a bedroom each, as per the BookaBach description of the property. Two guys had to share a room.The owners were a delightful, very helpful Chinese couple, who made us welcome and accommodated our Ebikes in their garage to recharge. 」

「We had the most restful stay in this cute retro bach. Everything we needed was provided. Adored the outdoor fire and bath. The covered outdoor eating area was perfect for rainy day dining. 「Everything about this stay was ranked 5 stars! Mark & Lisa’s Balinese styled home & garden is gorgeous & although we didn’t get to try out the pizza oven or outdoor bath (in winter), the log fire in the kitchen (which was lit before our arrival) kept us warm & cosy. It is a perfect place to return to after a day exploring around Karamea & the locals are very friendly. Communications, booking & accommodation were all PREMO! Try to stay at least 3 nights - it’s worth it! 」
