The location was great and the two people at the front desk at check in and late night were nice. Everything else was somewhat subpar. The person working checkout was nowhere to be found and when he did show up, made me feel like I was an inconvenience to his day. The room I had was pretty dated and the shower drain didn’t work well, causing water to backup int the shower tub floor. It took about 5-7 minutes after the water was shut off for it to completely drain. I also had difficulty getting hot water, took both showers in slightly warm but still chilled water. Restaurant was closed / being renovated when I was there.

Im Grunde ist die Bewertung von Expedia, aufgrund dessen ich dieses Hotel gewählt habe kompl. falsch. Wir sind von daher von Expedia sehr enttäuscht. Sauberkeit, wenn man reinkommt steht dort als erstes eine total durchgesessene Couch. Die Duschwände und die Armaturen waren absolut nicht sauber, trotzten nur so vor Kalkflecken, hatten das sofort bemängelt aber es wurde nichts behoben. Dort wo sich normalerweise ein Kühlschrank befindet war ein ein leere Schrank. Der Kleiderschrank hatte ebenfalls Macken. Tresor vorhanden aber nicht nutzbar. Nun zum Buffett, Rührei und Speck, kalt, alle Brötchen trocken. Ich könnte noch einiges mehr aufzählen, aber ich glaube es reicht :-( :-(

Amazing location, undergoing renovations.

The location of Hotel Zum Ritter was amazing, the very best in old town Heidelberg!! The price was also good so we were able to look past the shortcomings because it was undergoing renovations and was still not 100% in their accommodations. Staff was minimal but the staff who were there were great. Room could have been cleaner and better prepared for our arrival (hair on the bathroom floor and an empty tissue box). Overall, a very good experience for us though!
