"The room was clean and tastefully decorated. Great view of the Nile. Lebanese restaurant on premises but greeting staff was rather rude and unwelcoming so we decided not to dine there. Went instead to another Lebanese restaurant a few blocks down the street in the Fairmont Hotel where the staff was very welcoming. Besides this one mishap, the staff at Sofitel was great, she was the one bad apple. The front door staff, the front desk staff and others randomly placed throughout the hotel were all wonderful. The only reason I gave a 4 rating for staff was our experience at the Lebanese restaurant."

"The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The hotel staff were exceptional! They provided personalized recommendations and were always available to assist with any questions. I felt valued as a guest. The hotel was cozy, quiet, and modern. It felt like a genuine getaway. The lighting and small details made my room feel like it was designed for comfort. The hotel’s location was perfect! I was just a short walk from great restaurants and shops. Mostafa was very friendly, pleasant and he consistently exceeded my expectations, making my staying seamless. From check-in to check-out, the service was impeccable. He made sure all my needs were met, and his friendliness truly made my stay. I was completely impressed with his professionalism and customer service skills. He was amazing , very thoughtful, providing great insights and detail. His attention to detail and willingness to help made my stay truly enjoyable. I couldn't be happier choosing this hotel. "What a first class hotel this is! The staff are impeccable and delivered a world class service from every single member. We were greeted by the door staff every time we returned from a trip with "Welcome home " The piano player in the bar was fantastic. Sky bar had spectacular view. The bar staff were exceptional , and attentive in particular Hadder and Ahmed they really are outstanding. The hotel is central and views are amazing of the city and the Nile. Amenities were 5 star from the variety of restaurants, gardens, pool and grandeur of the hotel generally. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. Thank you to all of you for making our stay so special."

"The hotel is on the 5th floor of what appears to be an abandoned building, with sketchy elevator service. Although staff was friendly and the hotel was clean there was very few amenities. Location is great but not if you're looking to relax, Egyptians love their car horns."

"Clean hotel with nice friendly staff, clean bathrooms, the rooms need an upgrade though. The hotel is situated in an old building right in the middle of downtown Cairo which is a perfect location. The continental breakfast was poor. The elevator is old and unreliable. A good stay for the price."

"The place was excellent—very beautiful, very clean, spacious, and comfortable—and located close to central Cairo. Excellent place around a mall and supermarket, very nice and beautiful. However, the problem was the language barrier; you really need to speak Arabic, as they never replied to my emails, and all communication took place over the phone. Fortunately, I was with my partner, who speaks Arabic; otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to communicate with them at all."
