Easy!

My wife and I have stayed in this property several times. There were some excellent changes made since our last visit. A new gas stove top, canopy built over the hot tub with lights, and a new game room upstairs. Made a nice property even better. Check it out!

Relaxing

This was a great cabin, area is beautiful and very quiet. You do have a very close neighbor but really was not an issue for us. We loved our stay and plan to go back.

Our stay

The property is really nice. We loved the creek and we saw a bit of wildlife. I will say I would never stay again w/o curtains or blinds or anything that will cover the windows. The family area and kitchen are actually very uncomfortable for us at night. Hot tub was great, felt private. The other side was empty but i dont think it wouldve bothered us to share that back wall with someone and the yard was big enough for many people to share.. honestly besides the windows i really liked this place. The sitting area furniture could be more comfy. The hot water, shower heads, water hardness and pressure all need to be updated or addressed. The stair railing is a little dangerous. I tied a rag around one part that kept snagging people. The towels smelled kinda weird. The sauna was my favorite part. Honestly I loved being able to enjoy Helen and also explore the outdoors with the kids. Glad we came.

We really enjoyed your cabin!! It was so peaceful!!

Our family loved staying at blue creek shoals cabin. It was so beautiful and peaceful. We loved hiking to Anna Ruby falls,going to the cabbage patch hospital 🥰 and even just enjoying the deer and rabbits out in the front yard. We can not wait to come back!!

We enjoyed the surrounding area and the quiet evenings.

The cabin was very nice and had all the utensils and other things we needed. The surrounding area of the creek, pond, the BBQ grill and fire pit were great. The cabin was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay and are planning to go back and use the available cabins again.

Amazing and Peaceful place to stay.

Highly recommend, would stay here again in a heartbeat. They accommodated an early check in at the last minute and had everything we needed on hand. Excellent view even included our own deer every morning. Great place for the kids to run and roam around. We will be back!!

Peace and Quiet

This secluded cabin is perfect for peace and quiet. Coming from a Big city, this is heavenly bliss. Lots of adventurous activities and the city of Helen provides lots of great food, drinks, wine tasting and shopping.

If your looking for a peaceful get away this is the perfect place!

It was a little hard to find, but we made it there safe and sound. I looked bigger in the photos,but everything was wonderful. I had a blast booking with them on short notice. I will most definitely be back.

Enjoyed our stay!

My daughter and I came up for a quiet weekend and stayed in one of the cabins. We enjoyed our stay. It was a quiet and relaxing time. The cabin was nice and clean. I am not a big fan of plug-ins/scents, but those were easy to just unplug. Scents give me a headache. The only reason I gave the cleanliness 4 stars is because the shower curtains in the master bathroom needed a refresher. They were pink on the bottom. I can't judge too much, because our liners need to be changed, too. :) I can see the advantages of renting the three cabins with families and friends. You could all near each other, but still enjoy your own spaces. Thanks for a great stay!

Relaxing

Property was beautiful! Cabin was very well supplied and loved the newly renovated kitchen with double oven and double door HUGE fridge. A few things that need upgraded are the carpet upstairs. Since this is a pet friendly cabin I would completely take up the carpet since it did smell like urine. Dryer needs a new heating element does not work at all. I would DEFINITELY visit this cabin again. However I would love to see the other beautiful relaxing 26 cabins available also. If your looking for an adjoining cabin for extended family this would be the one you want! Hot tab was EXTREMELY relaxing. Jets and blower worked as they should since other cabins we stayed in the past jets were very weak and water lukewarm instead of hot. Thank you for the stay👍👏 Bryan and Shari, Atlanta GA

Weekend trip to Helen, Ga - April 2023

We made our first trip to Helen, GA on April 14, 2023. The cabin overall was great! Everything was ready for us and the check-in could not have been simpler. We really didn't use the upstairs but it looked clean and ready to go. The carpet had recently been cleaned and smelled fresh. The downstairs bed room was great. The bed was a little soft for our tastes but we sleep on a firm mattress at home but keep that in mind if you like a firm bed. The master shower is large but the pebbled floor was a bit strange and not exactly comfortable on the feet but not a big deal. Maybe it encourages guests not to say in too long? Bring shower shoes! The hot tub was clean and warm and a nice way to relax after a drive. I suggest turning the temperature up 15 minutes or so before you get in if you want it hot versus warm. I also suggest bringing extra towels if you want to use the hot tub. The host provides towels but they are really for the shower. Bring some beach size towels for the hot tub. You can dry them off in the dryer to use them again. The last half mile or so to the cabin is dirt and gravel but the signs point you the right way. Take it slow and watch out for deer. We saw several over the weekend! If you need groceries be sure to plan ahead and pick them up before you get to the cabin. Cleveland is about 20 minutes down the road and the Ingel's there is great! Had everything we needed including sandwiches and hot food for after we got done hiking around the area. I also recommend picking up a bag or two of ice while getting groceries. We had not planned on doing any fishing in the trout pond which is good because it looks like they are renovating it. Same goes for the garden on property. It needs some spring tending which I am sure is coming. We especially enjoyed listening to the water run through the creek below the property. We didn't have time to explore much around the grounds or trails at the cabin but it is a nice, wooded area. The internet access is excellent. If you have access to things like Netflix, or Disney+ remember to bring your passwords and use them to log into the Smart TVs. This is helpful if rain keeps you from going out. The cabin is connected to the "Guest House" via the back porch and the porch is separated by a door. Supposedly someone was staying there the same weekend we were there but we never heard anything. It was a quiet and peaceful two nights for us. One other thing I would note. The staircase going to the second floor is not enclosed and there is no safety railing keeping someone from falling back into the main room when using the stairs. Not really an issue for adults but could be a problem for a family with young kids. You will need to keep them off the stairs. We certainly would stay here again. It was a great weekend away and something we really needed. We appreciate how easy it was to book the room and had all questions answered. Enjoy Helen, GA!

Great cabin

My family had a wonderful stay at Blue Creek Shoals- hot tub was nice, pond and creek were the best parts with kids. Inside the cabin was very clean, just as pictures online. Love the layout and everything provided. We used the grill one night, fished multiple times, and the distance to Cleveland and Helen is very ideal.Beds are very comfortable, nice showers, lots of room for the kids to play.

Cute cabin, beautiful area, very clean

The upgrades on the cabin were great without losing its charm. The yard area down to the creek was beautiful. It was a peaceful place to spend the weekend. The cabin was very clean and that made our stay very nice and comfortable! Working with the staff to rent the cabin and for instructions, etc. was very easy and Alex was very nice and helpful!
