Alpine Helen is the tourist hot spot here in the Mountains of North GA. Visit us in the fall for the world’s longest running Oktoberfest. Helen, GA is centrally located to Hiawasee, Blairsville, Dahlonega, Ellijay, Sautee Nacoochee, Lake Burton, Lake Vogel and Brasstown Bald, the highest natural point in the state of Georgia. North GA is also known for its Great trout fishing, zip lining, tubing and wines tasting. Visit Three Sisters, Frog Town, Wolf Mountain and Habersham Wineries just to mention a few.
Our cabin has easy access to all Helen has to offer and is a short walk (1/4 - 3/4 mile) for shopping, dining, bars, tubing and water Park. They also offer go-carts, horse rides, hiking, biking, kayaking, mountain roads, views etc within a short drive. The cabin is private and semi-secluded with plenty of parking space.
North Georgia also has abundant wildlife, many hiking trails, lakes, rivers, and waterfalls. Enjoy the mountain Laurel in the Spring, the colorful foliage in the fall, warm mountain air in the summer and maybe even a touch of snow in the winter months.
Experience the best of the North Georgia Mountains by staying in this cozy 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom cabin. Room to comfortably sleep up to 6 guests, this home is the perfect size for a family mountain getaway.
The cabin comes with a fully furnished kitchen and bedding. All you need to bring is your personal items and food. We have Roku tv and WiFi.
After a fun day of taking in all Helen and North Georgia has to offer come home to a large relaxing hot tub and gaze at the stars while enjoying your favorite beverage.
We just love our cabin and are sure you will too, you’ll fall in love with the tasteful furnishings and decorations, offering that “rustic charm” and “wilderness feel” that you want in your ultimate cabin getaway.

We really loved this little cabin. We had such a fun time. It was close to downtown but wasn’t right in the middle of all the action which was really nice.It was very clean and the kitchen has basically anything you could need to cook. It was very cozy. The fireplace was great and the hosts were very kind.The only thing I would say is that there wasn’t an actual doorknob on the bedroom or bathroom doors. This isn’t really a big deal. There’s a latch on the inside when you go in. However, if you have a small child like we do who you might want to keep out of a room (specifically the bathroom), this can be a little tricky. This didn’t make our trip less wonderful in any way. It was still a 5/5 star stay. I would just consider bringing a removable tension gate next time.

My son and I booked to check out Octoberfest for the first time and to see some of the waterfalls in the area. Dave was a great host. We had an issue when we first arrived. Dave was quick to reply to my request and quickly remedied the issue. The cabin is great and has all the amenities you need. We had a great time and enjoy our stay at the cabin.

What a nice cabin! The location is just at the end of the main strip. Beds were very comfortable. It's very dog friendly, including a gate on the deck so pets can walk around outside. Communication was wonderful. Messages were answered quickly. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location with walking distance everywhere. The hot tub was very clean and hot upon arrival. I could actually smell the cleanliness of it. The cabin is small and cozy with privacy from the trees. The gas grill was very convenient! The wrap around porch is accommodating. They had board games to play.the a/c worked great! There is a firepit wiyh 6 chairs that was nice too.

Came up for a short weekend to enjoy Oktoberfest. Enjoyed our stay in our cozy cabin. It was clean and plenty of room for the 2 of us. Surrounded with the peaceful sounds of nature, but close enough to the town of Helen to enjoy all the festivities. The owners were quick to get back to us when communicated. We will definitely be back and recommend.

Had a wonderful time in the cabin! Check in was a breeze…just put in the code that was provided. The cabin provided all the necessities in each room. It is in as great location. The cabin was so very clean…spotless ! no dust, spider webs etc. we really enjoyed the hot tub and just sitting on the porch reading my book and looking into the lovely woods. We even saw a mama deer and her two babies at the end of our driveway. ! Would definitely recommend!

It was even better than the pictures suggest. We absolutely loved it here! Very cozy & comfortable. You feel like you’re secluded and away from it all, but really you’re so close to town! Loved the fire pit, wrap around porch, and true log cabin feel.
