Peaceful Getaway in the Northern Georgia Mountains

Serenity in the Northern Georgia mountains was the perfect getaway! The property was spotless and stocked with everything you could need for a home-away-from-home experience. The owners were fantastic—great communication and incredibly accommodating. Highly recommend staying here!

Exceptional hosts, beautiful home, spectacular views

Short getaway w/wife to revisit our wedding venue in Hayesville. We wanted a quiet, cozy, comfortable, secure place to stay & relax & couldn’t have chosen a better place than Serenity. It was exactly what we’d hoped for with the accessibility throughout the home & property; the peacefulness of the location; the many amenities available to use; the amazing views & multiple ways/locations to enjoy them; the overall comfort of the interior. The hosts, Bob & Etel, were so helpful & courteous prior to arrival. Ensuring easy access to the home & providing information & locations in the area to visit should we decide to venture out. They were genuinely appreciative of our choice of & stay at their home & we’ll undoubtedly be staying there again in the future.

Absolutely beautiful views and so peaceful

My wife and I needed to get away for a weekend and we chose this property. I am so glad we did. The owners were absolutely amazing and helped out so much. It really gave us peace of mind and helped us just relax and not stress about anything. The property looked like it was staged for a magazine photo shoot. It was perfect. And the views from the back porches were breathtaking. I’m glad I brought my camera rig for the sunrises as I was able to get some pretty amazing photos. One morning the sky looked like it was on fire with all of the oranges, reds, and yellows in the valley. The house was super clean and they really paid attention to assure every detail was perfect. The property was only about ten minutes away from town which made grocery shopping and fueling up for our return trip super easy. We loved it so much we have already been planning our next stay here. Don’t hesitate booking this property. You won’t regret it at all.

“The View”

We enjoyed our stay tremendously!! 4 nights are enough!! I give it a 5 star for sure! The only slight complaint and the owners can’t help that, is the narrow slightly steep drive up. But oh when you arrive!!! The house was wonderful and THAT VIEW, “ONLY GOD CAN CREATE “ Hope to return one day!

Labor Day Weekend with the Fam!

We were thrilled to find this lovely property available, for a last minute, Labor Day getaway with the Fam. Such an amazing, panoramic view and every bit as secluded as advertised. We enjoyed the fire pit, gas grill and especially the pool table! Everywhere you look, both inside and out, there is comfortable, quality furniture; so you always have a quiet place to unwind. I really appreciated the attentiveness and availability of our host(Etel) and the considerable appointments throughout the home.

Best VRBO experience ever!

This was my best experience with a VRBO rental ever. Not only the location of the home but it's décor, it's outdoor entertainment areas, its perfect set up for relaxation, it's cleansiness, in summary, a perfect rental. The owner was caring and responsive. This trip was pure delight. We loved it! I hope to visit again!

Great Escape

My wife and I scheduled a Georgia mountain vacation several months ago not knowing that the week we chose would be the one that "Hurricane Ian" decided to visit Florida. We almost decided not to go but very glad we did. What a fantastic house with awesome views. Bob and Etal have made this house a "home" for those who visit. Everything you would want or need...they thought of. We enjoyed watching the sun each morning burn off the fog, quite a sight! Great pictures! Etal was very helpful with suggestions on what to see in the area but frankly if you just wanted to soak in the scenery from the balconies that would have been enough. Only one word of caution, the road to the house is pretty steep and it is narrow so try to get to the house while there is still light. We highly recommend this property. We are glad the we "escaped" Florida while Ian visited.

Can't wait to go back!

Can’t wait to go back! This secluded location provides an amazing scenery and close enough to town. Every morning we enjoyed breakfast on the balcony, watching the fog fade revealing the scenery. The rooms were in perfect condition, and spotless. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking if you decide to stay in. That massage chair was excellent after the drive. If you are looking to disconnect from the everyday business, look no more. Serenity is the place for you! The host was accommodating and provided good communication. Thanks Etel for the hospitality! Pool table!?!?!? Yes please! Franklin.

Beautiful property

Beautiful home with majestic views. Close to many landmarks. We just wanted a relaxing getaway and this was the perfect place. The home was very clean and Etta the host was wonderful and very attentive. We will definitely come again.

Beautiful view and secluded

I can't give enough stars for this rental. Beautifully decorated and very clean. Two master suites with deck for each. Comfy beds and linens. Very secluded feeling with gorgeous mountain views, but still close to town. Great roomy outside areas with lots of places to enjoy the view and fire pit. Saw two deer right by the deck one night. And saw a bear and cubs while driving close to a hike we went on. Owners were great!

Anniversary retreat

Me and my husband spent our 31st anniversary here and it was amazing!! The veiws were spectacular and the house was beautiful. What I found refreshing was that the owner was easily available and very helpful. I highly recommend taking a trip and staying here.

Amazing getaway!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary! The view was amazing and the house was super clean and tastefully decorated. The hosts were fabulous and very responsive to our needs. They suggested several things we might do while in the area. We enjoyed some of the local attractions including Bell Mountain and a trip to Helen and Dahlonega. Make sure you check out Casa Bella Restaurante in Young Harris. The owner takes the order, cooks the meal and serves you. Tasty food and a great atmosphere!

Great Getaway!

This property is amazing! It’s clean, well kept, and the view is amazing. Everything is labeled and organized making it very easy to flow right into this temporary home. The owners were super nice and very accommodating, even giving recommendations on things to do. The roads are narrow to get up the mountain but totally worth the trip up. There isn’t a whole lot to do in town, but just enough to keep busy. Location is only about 35-40 min from Helen, GA which is also worth visiting. Overall, this was a perfect getaway for my family to relax and enjoy time together.

Serenity

We did a 2 month long term stay and could not possibly found a better place. Beautiful view, abundant wildlife and beautiful home. There are so many things to do nearby we couldn’t see everything in the area. A few of our favorites were vineyards, hiking, waterfalls, and visiting nearby towns. Bob and Etel are undoubtedly the best hosts you could have. Highly recommend Serenity for your short or long term stay.

Serenity with accessibility

If you are looking for the quiet still of nature, the peaceful surround of mountains then this IS the place for you! This place is the essence of serenity. The only thing that topped the home, the location and the accessibility was the home owners/ hosts. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. There is a wheelchair ramp into the home. The layout of the home is open and very accessible. The owners provided a walker and shower chair for ease of access. For as long as we have used the rental platform and as many rentals that we have stayed in they were by far the best hosts we have ever had!

Home away from home

Serenity was the perfect place to disconnect and enjoy family time. The house was equipped with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. The pool table provided much entertainment in down time. Best of all was the spectacular outdoor space. There was much attention to detail with the landscape and lighting. The majestic panoramic views of the mountains were amazing!!! The location was great for us as we wanted to visit Helen. Ga and some surrounding towns. Would highly recommend this property and would live to visit again in the near future.
