A fisherman`s paradise - trout fishing right in front of your own cabin - catch your limit on the beautiful clear waters of the fast flowing Chattahoochee River.

The property is close to the Chattahoochee Wildlife Management Preserve and there is something for everyone in the area: fishing, hiking, river tubing, or horseback riding at Sunburst Stables or just relaxing in the hot tub on the deck as you watch the river flow by. This perfect spot for rest and relaxation is located close to nature and the headwaters of the Upper Chattahoochee River and only 1 mile from the vibrant center of Helen, GA. This cozy cabin is located just minutes from the shopping and dining of the delightful alpine village of Helen, GA and a short drive to the spectacular Anna Ruby Falls, Dukes Creek Falls, Smithgall Woods Center and Unicoi State Park. Good trip no major complaints, the balcony is new and is were we spent a lot of time Nice location some heavy equipment noise from what ever business is on other side of river. In need of some basic maintenance and repair. Door jams all had some nail heads sticking up, Might stay there again if cheaper

GREAT GETAWAY
THE PORCH OVER THE RIVER IS SO PEACEFUL AND FULL OF ENERGY. LOVED THE EASY ACCESS TO TOWN. THE HOUSE WAS VERY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. THE FIREPLACE WAS GOING THE WHOLE TIME COMPLETING THE EXPERIENCE.

Good times!
A little difficult to find initially because it looks like you’re driving in someone’s yard with no sign to let you know to drive down the grassy lane. But location is cool and we had a blast. Home is in need of repair and update with significant water damage, the jacuzzi water was clear but had a strong stale smell so we flushed it with the hose to make it usable. And understand you are looking at a bit of a scrap yard 30 feet away across the river. With that said it’s still pretty cool to look down from the deck at the water streaming by. House has everything you need and more.
