The Inn is quaint and the farm animals are a bonus. It was fun feeding the goats. The on-site restaurant is truly 5 stars! The food—quality and preparation—is spectacular. It was an unexpected delight.

A long road trip to Maine required an overnight stay to break up the drive. I chose Colby Hill Inn over any chain hotel for its promising charm, mostly and restaurant. The building is old and dated but therein lies its charm. Rooms are clean and the beds very comfortable. There are parlors on the first floor where a TV can be found. The dining area overlooks a garden where goats may be seen. The restaurant's food is delicious both for breakfast and dinner. The menu is not exhaustive but you won't be disappointed. Staff are very friendly and eager to make your stay memorable. I will keep the Colby Hill Inn on my list of places to stay again.

We received a complimentary upgrade to the suite due to it's vacancy. The provided amenities were excellent. Staff was extremely courteous. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. Look forward to staying again.

Country perfection

Wonderful and engaged staff. We were given a tour of the inn and brought to our room. Room was well appointed with many period pieces. The bed, pillows and linens were scrumptious! Great bath amenities. Grazing was lovely and overlooked the beautiful gardens. Pretty out door seating area and pool too. Breakfast was one of the most delicious breakfasts I've eaten at am inn. Perfect service, food and presentation. A very lovely and quiet stay. Next time we're making reservations for dinner. Very sad we missed it this time around. Highly recommend!

Nice but dated and expensive B&B

Room didn’t match description. Very old property. Nice staff. They “upgraded” us to get a room closer to the description. Pillows were uncomfortable, windows were old and needed a stick to hold up, dated. But nicely decorated, it’s an old B&B so you kind of have to expect it. Restaurant is SUPER expensive.

Horrible experience

The description of the room was nothing like what i got when I arrived. I paid for what sounded like a great room. What i got was no better than an Econolodge. No TV, broken wifi, no comfy chair to put my feet up and read, room was poorly lit, promised a jetted tub, i got a stand up shower. I would never stay there again.

We had a phenomenal stay and will be returning it. The Inn has the perfect New England charm. It’s a quiet oasis perfect for writing, reading and relaxing.
