Very relaxing

My husband and I were celebrating our 44 anniversary and we totally loved this place. Our time was very restful and enjoyable. We brought our boat but could only go out one day due weather. We had our 3 bull dogs and the to enjoy playing there

I have already submitted a detailed review on the day after checking out. Why do you continue asking

I have already replied with an extremely detailed descriptio of the ankle high grass, the kitchen varmint that gnawed a granola bar, the new plastic tea pitcher I purchased and left for the next guests sonce there was only a small one in the kitchen. The steep stairs, ankle high wet grass and heavy to lift boats were a challenge for this grandmother and young children. This was not the best property for us. That, combined with the fact that it stormed 2 out of 3 days of our stay made me realize I had come a long way from Louisiana to lay in bed and read a book.

Simply Peaceful Weekend

We had hoped for a fun weekend at Lake Gaston, that is exactly what we got. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We typically don't cook much on getaways like this one, but we enjoyed doing so this trip. There is a 2nd refrigerator that was great for beverages. It was a short and easy walk to the dock. The dock was big enough for sunbathing and fishing. The cove we were located on did have a good amount of boat traffic and our neighbors were friendly. We also enjoyed sitting out on the deck at night. The temperatures were too hot to enjoy the fire pit, so we just spent more time in the lake. I reached out to the property managers with a couple questions and they immediately responded helping to make our stay even more enjoyable. There are is a Food Lion, dollar store and several restaurants within a 15 minute drive of the house.

Perfect name

Thank you for a simply peaceful stay, the home was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Even though it was windy, we still caught fish from the dock. We would love to rent again, Thanks for everything.
