“Great place to stay with our family. The sheets were wonderful cotton and not synthetic fiber like so many places have these days. The beds were very comfortable. The water pressure was great. AC was amazing and kept the house very comfortable in the near 100 degree humidity. Furniture was cozy. The kitchen was very well equipped for us to cook full family dinners. Location was close to everything but still tucked away in the country. The owners were very attentive to anything we contacted them……

“The Windmill Farmhouse was the perfect spot for our family stay over the long Geode Fest weekend. The interior is filled with comfy furniture and thoughtful touches that made it easy to relax after hiking all day. My son especially loved the oversized cushion chairs! The location is out-of-the-way and quiet, but the roads are well-kept, and getting in and out to Keokuk, Nauvoo, and so on was a breeze! The family room was spacious and the basement offers a place for kids to go and play, giving the adults a chance to relax on their own.
