"Good hotel for the price. There seemed to only be one staff member working at a time. When we arrived, we had to ring the bell for service and she came from doing laundry. We witnessed another customer ringing it several times. Our tv didn't work when we got to our room, and the same woman that checked us in came to fix it, and she was on the phone when she came in. She stated she has to do this several times a day. She had a very good attitude about it though. We went to breakfast around 7:30. I used the last biscuit and didn't see them bring more out before we left. Again, one employee seemed to be managing the food and the service desk. Altogether, for the price, it was worth the stay."

"This place blew our expectations out of the water!!! (No pun intended because it’s literally on the water) it’s so charming and such a great property. We started off with drinks across the street at the Drift which was amazzzzzing and beautiful then headed to the Inn. After a seamless check in we went out to the Boardwalk bar for drinks and live music. The service was fantastic and the drinks were great. Once the bar was closing we grabbed our suits and had a night swim in the pool. The rooms could definitely use a little upgrade (which they stated was in progress) there was a big jacuzzi tub in the room that we utilized and then sat outside on the balcony and listened to the lake. Such a perfect relaxing evening!!! The only complaint I would make is the room had been cleaned with Pinesol or something like that and the room REEKED of cleaner and the floor had a slippery film from the mop. I was glad that I brought a fan from home because I had to open the doors and windows to air out the smell while we were downstairs."

"We enjoyed our stay at JB's property. Great location and awesome fireworks show put on by the residents and visitors for the 4th of July!The place was roomy and well decorated. It did show wear and tear with regards to linens, towels, and outdoor furniture. And toiletries were lacking compared to past VRBO. Most provide adequate shampoo, washes and liquid soaps. This place was limited in this department. Although the AC units did the job during the heat wave (thankfully) they really need to be upgraded.The coffee maker failed to work but JB our host quickly provided another one. Greatly appreciated!Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to stay despite some minor flaws."

"House is super cute and all the bedrooms are pretty big. The kitchen was stocked w teas and coffees which was appreciated! It was really hot when we were there so the owners brought in extra AC units for the upstairs bedrooms to keep us cool. The only disappointment is there is no close lake access - it’s all privately owned so we were a little bummed we couldn’t sit out by the water."

"Barefoot Bungalow is a GEM! Val’s decorating is spot on for a Bass Lake house and her amenities are perfect. Val’s home is clean and exactly as described. Also, her communication rating earns her a A!The 1st floor primary bedroom, en-suite and laundry were so helpful and appreciated, as I just had a total knee replaced 12 days ago. My only one negative thing to say is why do we have to leave so soon (the week flew by)! We will be back. Thanks Val!"

"Very aesthetic summery feel, also good in the winter! Such a nice patio and a bed that just feels like home calling while you’re in a different place. Inexpensive and very quiet and clean and very comfortable! Felt right at home! Love this place !!!"
