One night before taking an early morning flight. Kiki the administrator is super friendly and ready to help with any need. Awesome restaurant by the hotel as well.

This was a very modern and stylish place, with a very comfortable bed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We could walk to Knossos in about half an hour and there were dining and shopping options nearby. Highly recommended!

A high quality hotel that gets the extras just right. The quality and cleanliness were top notch and we found the rooms well appointed and comfortable. We also appreciated the style of the decor throughout. But it was those extra torched like the welcome snacks, the hotel-prepared info guide, the toothbrush kit, the coffee/teas in room and the little slippers that were the extra touch to make us feel very welcome. Our interactions with staff were always very friendly and they were always very communicative and helpful in addressing any minor issues we had (e.g. missing TV remote the first day). A great place to stay in Heraklion.

The traffic noise was horrible at night. You can hear everything inclusing traffic, music from passing cars, people talking. The area also doenst have a lot of dining options and you cant drink the tap water either which meand you have to buy bottled water. Also there is no 24/7 front desk so if yoy arrive at night you will have challenges getting it. Tours dont usually pick up from here either. Water hotness is touch and go. At night you can grt decent hot water. In the mornings not so much

We arrived between 10:30 and 11PM for check-in based on the advertised 2PM-12AM check-in window. No one was at reception. We had to call a customer service line. We were supposed to receive an email, apparently, with a code to get in the building. Took about 20-25 minutes to get to our room. Room was clean, comfortable - no complaints once we got in.

Globally good, but..

Despite the problems of a flashing LED light in the room compelling us to disconnect the electric meter (otherwise we felt like in a disco party), the toilet seat with some weird stains, the absence of any person to welcome, and the fact that the beds were only prepared with one sheet (no throw or duvet), everything was quite good. Good communication... via emails. As to the location, not ideal, far from old town, from the port and even from the Knossos Palace. Nice bedroom, nice mattress, good decoration and efficient AC.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at GD Gallery Suites in Heraklion, Crete, Greece, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed with the overall experience this hotel had to offer. First and foremost, the spacious suites were simply fantastic. It was a breath of fresh air to have ample room to move around comfortably, especially when traveling with a family. The separate room for kids was an incredible bonus, as it provided a sense of privacy and allowed us, parents, to have our own space to unwind after a day of exploration. The well-equipped kitchen in the suite was an added convenience, allowing us to prepare our meals and enjoy some home-cooked delicacies during our stay. The hotel's modern design and cleanliness truly stood out. The contemporary decor and stylish furnishings created a chic and inviting ambiance. Everything seemed to be meticulously maintained, and the level of cleanliness was exceptional, leaving us with a sense of comfort and reassurance. The overall experience at GD Gallery Suites was nothing short of amazing. The staff members were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and eager to assist with any request. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home, and they were always ready to provide recommendations for local attractions, restaurants, and activities, ensuring we had a memorable stay. The location of the hotel was another highlight. Situated in Heraklion, it was conveniently close to various attractions

You advertised this as a 3/4 star hotel. It is not an hotel, you said it had 24 hour reception it did not, it had 24 hour WhatsApp. You said it had a restaurant it did not. You said there was a spa there was not. They were all individual businesses and nothing to do with the apartments. We thought we had booked an hotel, it was an apartment block, in a run down area and transport was awful, it was noisy and dusty. There was no where to sit outside the apartment. Our bins were left over flowing and we had no replacement towels in four days. We booked this for two weeks but fortunately we had to change our flights because two weeks in this place would have been a nightmare. The restaurant next door was nice but three times the price of eating in the city. The people in the shop joined to the apartments were unfriendly and were annoyed when our taxi dropped us in front of their shop and we had to go through it to get to the reception. The manager had sent a code to our phones while we flying so never received them until after we arrived at the apartment block. There was no one in reception all the time we stayed here. This apartment block is okay for a one or two night stop over but not for a holiday. We have booked through Expedia many time and this has been our worse experience ever. Needless to say we won’t be using Expedia again.

Beds and pillows really quite bad, thin and plasticky feeling. I was under the weather and realized I had checked out in a hurry and left some clothing behind and cleaning staff denied seeing it. The plus side is that they were incredibly responsive - everything was done via WhatsApp. Never interacted with a person, for better or worse - personally did not mind. Conveniently located to Knossos.

No 2 bus stops outside and goes to Knossos and back into town to the Archeological Museum. Nice restaurant is part of the property, and its staff are very helpful when you are unable to access your room. But there is no "Reception" to greet you, and if you haven`t caught up with your emails you are unable to get in. When you sit down and search for an email you find it says your booking is no longer valid. However, other kind guests and restaurant staff sorted us out. But we couldn`t get the safe to work, and there was no-one to ask. The room was not cleaned on Sunday but we could not see this in any of the instructions in the room.
