The cabin is really adorable and cozy, very clean and updated, and has everything you need (including a well-equipped kitchen). It was easy to communicate with Erin. 「Have you ever booked a place, driven 5 hours, and then arrived to find out it wasn't as pictures showed. The minute I pulled up for my week long solitude retreat this place felt like home. I brought my inflatable kayak, a bunch of books & art supplies, and comfort food.....and it was a great way to just chill. Decided to venture out to Brule River for some hiking and kayaking adventures, and did not dissappoint! Great location, Great Spot, and perfect for a solo getaway.」

「Fun place to stay! Quiet and peaceful. The main room was a great place to gather and make meals or play games. We enjoyed walking down to the beach and seeing the changing mood of the lake. Erin was very helpful and responsive. Would stay again for sure!」

「The cabin is super cute with a great porch setting. Two issues we had as two couples staying here: 1) Upstairs loft “bedroom” is not private or soundproof. 2) A card table or another small table indoors would be helpful when the weather doesn’t allow porch access or to work on a puzzle (porch table is wrought iron with holes in it). The bathrooms and kitchen are updated and very nice. Also, the living room and fireplace are comfy and cozy. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here! Bayfield is close by...

「We really enjoyed our cabin that is off the beaten path. Very secluded and peaceful. We visited the Apostle Islands, did some cave kayaking and toured North Shore all the way up to Tettegouche State Park. We couldn't enjoy a campfire due to the takeover by mosquitoes and ticks but they are always nasty in the spring and it has been wetter than normal.」

「It was so Beautiful and Quiet! Our cabin was clean and had all the necessities. We toured the area, saw 9 waterfalls, 2 state parks, 2 beaches, Lake Superior and a Pow Wow! Made a bunch of great memories! Having fires in the fire pit was definitely a highlight! Thank you very much for your hospitality!」
