Top Herefordshire Hotel Reviews

Hopbine House
10/10 Excellent
"A delightful B&B. Great Value. I will definitely visit again."

The Green Man
10/10 Excellent
"Check in was professional and informative. Room amenities very good and exceptionally clean. Restaurant staff very attenuative and a very good menu selection. Breakfast was a blast. Superb service, tasty food and fantastic staff member. very funny and really made a great start to my morning. Having paid for all of the amenities offered within the room rate the one reason why I specifically return to a hotel is the people, they are the difference that makes the difference. how they engage with you and how they treat you is not paid for, it is how they are as a person. Thank you Amanda, my day got off to a great start because of you."

Pilgrim Hotel
8/10 Good
"A one night stay plus breakfast. Good. No issues. Not that it was an issue for my stay but for future reference to consider permitting dogs. Maybe allocate some rooms for o/night stay with dogs. Wonderful countryside location. You advertise walks. Missing out on a key £ market!"

The Kings Head Hotel
8/10 Good
"Firstly, it was lovely to stay in an independently owned hotel where the staff clearly have great pride in their hotel and ensuring that guests are happy with their stay. Everyone was charming and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and the evening meal, although not an extensive menu, was freshly prepared and nicely presented. In the evenings this is an extremely popular pub with locals and visitors. The bars were absolutely packed and in the Corn Exchange next door was an AC/DC tribute band. We really enjoyed the lively atmosphere (and we're in our 70's). Two things to take into consideration: The stairs are extremely winding and steep. Ask for help with your luggage if you need to. It won't be a problem. The entrance to the car park is very tight, through a narrow archway. Unless you have a small car don't attempt to turn in from the High Street. Turn up the road opposite the entrance, turn round and come back down facing the archway and enter it square on. Enjoy your stay."

Royal Hotel Ross On Wye by Greene King Inns
8/10 Good
"We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the room was extremely large, bathroom extremely small and dated. Amazing view from the bedroom we sat and enjoyed the view when the weather was rather unpredictable Good parking Food good standard, restaurant lacked character and atmosphere but the staff were excellent very friendly"

The Royal Lodge
8/10 Good
"Beautiful view from our spacious room. Bed was very comfortable. The lodge is quite remote on a single lane road and we had a traffic jam on the road on Saturday morning."

Porters Lodge
8/10 Good
"Large clean room with crisp sheets on the bed. Both the bed and the pillows were too firm, resulting in limited sleep I was convinced that continental breakfast was included when I booked the room. However the Expedia booking did not state that ,nor did the information sent to the Porters Lodge. The charge was though only £5 pp."

The Riverside at Aymestrey
10/10 Excellent
"This is such a special place - the accommodation is charming, comfy and convenient, the spa facilities are SPECIAL, staff are lovely and helpful and the food was great. It's a true indie place within striking distance of many great walks, and equally a fab place just to chill and unwind. Gorgeous and so well looked after."

Green Dragon Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Hotel is in a great location - just over 15 minute walk to the train station, close to shops and the Cathedral - looks like the downstairs has been elegantly renovated. Beautiful newly-refurbished bedroom, with some really thoughtful extra touches - such as a rubber bathmat and handrail, electric fan, suitcase stand, and biscuits every day with the tea and coffee. I liked being able to open the window. Some of the staff seemed less friendly and professional than one would expect - however, generally the staff were o.k. and two of the younger reception staff (a young man and young woman), both with dark hair, were both pleasant and helpful. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, as there were plenty of cafes and Bill's Kitchen (in All Saints Church) in the same street and close by."
