First trip with all 3 grandkids

This house was great for a first trip with our grandkids and 2 dogs, the hot tube was a great. I think the best part was having contact with the manager before and after, and knowing everything was ready and waiting on us! If we get to go back I will being staying here again.

AMAZING home

This cabin is 10/10 one of the best places I've stayed! plenty of space inside for 3 people and a dog. We enjoyed the screened-in patio, hot tub, and fire pit. The owner herself was super sweet and helpful and truly made the rental process easy.

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful time at Forrest Cottage! The house was very clean and just as pictured. It was just a short walk to the lake. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and dishes needed for all meals. The king bed was comfortable. The hot tub was one of the cleanest we have seen at a rental home with no mildew smell that most seem to have. Bettye was the best host ever! She called the day we were leaving to give us directions and called to make sure our stay was going well. I would highly recommend staying here and hope to return.

Great!

We had a great time here. Everything was super clean and neat. Lots of games. Everything you need to cook. The hot tub was super clean. We loved it and hope to be back again!

Charming house

Really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Decor was lovely and Rustic. The porch and fire pit area were very relaxing. The Spa Tub was very clean and modern. The views are wonderful also. Conveniently located to grocery shopping and restaurants. The owner Betty is very hospitable and helpful. Hoping to stay there again.

Clean cottage

Very clean and comfortable cottage. Our kids enjoyed the air hockey table and having the loft to themselves! The adults enjoyed the hot tub several times a day! Host provides towels for hot tub use which was great since we didn’t have extras with us. Secluded yet close enough to town if you want to go out. Beds were comfortable. We will likely stay here again in the future!

Comfortable and relaxing

Spent several days at this cabin before Thanksgiving. We arrived late, got a little lost, but once we were there we felt right at home. The cabin was very clean inside and had all the amenities we were accustomed too. The beds are very comfortable. My son enjoyed having the upstairs to play. The air hockey table was a bonus. The screened in porch was very relaxing. The cabin is a short drive off of the highway, but the drive up to the house is steep- not a negative, but be prepared. Bettye is an excellent host and we would definitely stay at this cabin again.

Exactly as described.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming home. From the moment we arrived, the host greeted us warmly (phone call) and ensured that we were all set for our weekend getaway. Their genuine hospitality set the tone for our entire stay and made us feel right at home.The house itself was very clean. It was exactly as described. The cleanliness and attention to detail were very nice, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay.One of the highlights of our stay was the screened-in porch, which quickly became our favorite spot to unwind. It provided the perfect setting for enjoying morning coffee and taking in the serene surroundings. To top it off, we were treated to a double rainbow from the porch.Overall, our experience at this vacation rental was nothing short of delightful.

Outstanding house

Second time staying here, this time for our 44th anniversary, love the house and hot tub. Our host is always accommodating and welcoming. Definitely recommend this place if you are in Hiawasee.

Very nice place

We loved the house. You will need a 4 wheel drive vehicle!! The owner was great and checked in with us before the arrival time to make sure we had a good idea of how to get there. She was always available for any questions we had.

Comfortable & Cozy!!

Our stay was fantastic. The home was quiet, super comfortable, and spotless. The screened porch is fantastic. We spent most of our time relaxing on it and listening to the rain. It is just a short drive from all the local activities—the lake, hiking, restaurants, grocery store, etc. Bettye was a delight and was incredibly responsive when we had questions. We can't wait to visit again!
