Welcome to Modern Lakeview Escape of Hickory!
Experience peaceful lake living in a quiet, safe, and convenient neighborhood — just steps from beautiful Lake Hickory and a mile from a nearby golf course for all the golf lovers out there! You'll be only 3 miles from shopping and dining options, with Douglas Airport about 75 minutes away and the famous Biltmore Estate just 80 minutes away.

Whether you're planning a weekend getaway or a longer stay, you won't want to miss the chance to relax, recharge, and make some unforgettable memories here.

The Space
This cozy, newly refreshed home offers:
3 comfortable bedrooms
2 full bathrooms
A fully equipped kitchen
A laundry room with full-size machines
A front deck perfect for sipping coffee or winding down while taking in beautiful lake views

Bedroom Setup:

Master Bedroom: Queen bed, 55” Smart TV, private closet, ensuite bathroom, and gorgeous lake views

Second Bedroom: King-size bed, 43” Smart TV

Third Bedroom: Full-size bed and closet space

The second full bathroom is conveniently located between bedrooms two and three.

Guest Access
You'll have full access to the home, plus a long driveway that can accommodate up to 3 cars. Please note the entrance to the driveway is a bit narrow — take your time when pulling in.

There is NO BOAT DOCK at the property. The Marina is down the street and has boat rentals available.

Pet fee is applied at a rate of $35 per night per pet.

Dogs must be trained and sleep in a crate (no puppies, please).

The inside of the property was basically clean. There was mold in both showers and all of the handles in the bathrooms and the kitchen area were sticky. Food was left in the freezer and the refrigerator from prior tenants. Kitchen was well equipped with enough supplies. Beds were comfortable And clean. Overall condition of inside of the property is exactly as pictured, but it could definitely have used a better cleaning. Many of the knobs and handles in the bathroom such as the toilet paper holders were loose and not clean. The outside of the property was awful. There was mud splattered all over the steps. None of the landscaping was alive. The entire front door was dirty. The chairs outside were filthy, and sitting right next to dirty trash cans. If you are looking for a basic hotel type experience, someplace to lay your head and get a quick shower, and spend most of your time somewhere else, than this place is fine.

The house provided adequate space for our group however the road the house is located on is very busy all hours of the night. The house did appear to be clean upon check in but it does need some cosmetic attention. We really liked how close the property is to LR, it made move in weekend easier! The master bed is very comfortable Our host was very responsive and accommodating. The veiw of the lake was a calming view to start the day.
