"Noise, and scetchy characters in the lobby upon arrival "

"Staff was exceptional. Very friendly and made the check-in and out easy. The staff spoke to you in passing and took the time to ask if you needed anything. I heard two of the staff having conversations with visitors in the breakfast room just like they had know them all their lives. Breakfast was ok. Pre-made omelets, sausage links, biscuits and gravy, the usual cereal selection, waffles, and toast/bagels. If we are ever in the area we will stay here again. Property conditions and facilities got a slightly lower score only due to the building being an older location but it was clean and that goes a long way. "

"I've traveled to Summersville a number of times to visit my mom and this is the first time I've stayed at the La Quinta. In my experience the best hotel in the area, and the staff is extremely kind and attentive. This is my go-to place to stay for future visits."

"This stay was for our 10th anniversary. The cabin was fantastic. We loved the hot tub and the privacy. We had an issue where VRBO didn’t send us the the cabin number and correct code. We ended up arriving at 2am due an emergency delay in our trip. We contacted VRBO and they contacted our host. We felt bad for waking him at 2am, but he was able to give us the information we needed. We stayed 3 nights. We hope to come back this summer to explore some of the activities that haven’t opened yet for the summer. We will definitely stay at these cabins again."

"We only stayed for 1 night but wished it could've been longer. The cabin is in a beautiful location right along the river and has easy access to many parts of New River Gorge NP. We explored the Canyon Rim, Grandview, and Sandstone areas of the park easily from the cabin location. The cabin was well equipped and comfortable. Being late December, we really enjoyed the large wood burning fireplace. The owner sent several messages prior to arrival to make sure we knew what to expect when we arrived. We also left some personal items behind and the owner was very gracious and accommodating for us to get them back. Definitely recommend!"
