"The property was beautiful and the hosts were very helpful! It was the perfect spot for a getaway with friends! The location was perfect as it was a short drive from town and right on a gorgeous lake, where we had access to canoes and kayaks. We went on a few gorgeous hikes around the area (Whiteside Mountain, High Falls, and Rainbow Fallls at Gorges National Park). I highly recommend staying here, and I can’t wait to book my next trip!"

"The Treehouse Suite at The Calhoun House is a great property. This particular suite is located in a separate building from the other suites, which was ideal for us, as we had our baby and toddler with us. We did not worry about disturbing other guests if he cried or was a little loud. Edward was amazing as we checked in. "The room was fine. Staff was really nice. I'd say probably not worth the price. It's a redone property and decent at that. I appreciated the heated bathroom floors and the way the team rectified some of the issues. I didn't like that you could literally hear EVERYTHING from all over because walls and floors were so thin it was wild. I didn't like that they also didn't have a breakfast or lunch option. Like if it's raining, you still have to leave the property in order to eat or just be stuck in your room. I wish it had a hot tub at least. idk probably wouldn't book again even at a lower rate. "
