So, I booked our room back in September, October of 2021. Between then and when our trip was, the property changed owners. Apparently, there was a bit of a mixup with the booking and the whole lodge was booked for a reunion. We get there to check in, and not only do they still accommodate us, despite the mixup, they gave us an upgrade for no extra charge. We were staying for our anniversary and were absolutely thrilled with everything. We will definitely visit again in the future.

We throughly enjoyed our one night stay there. The rooms were big and clean. We even had our own screened in porch, which was nice. Highly recommend. It might not be the most modern but the place was very, very clean and had a warm homey feel. We are very picky about where we stay and we felt this property was well taken care of and full of loving care.

The place seemed exquisitely clean however the service was minimal. The kitchen space lacked paper towels or any resources nor signs directing guest to any assistance. The room was spotless but that’s about it when you have a bare kitchen and only a tiny foot heater for the open space.

Our stay was fantastic! Cindy, the manager, went above and beyond to make our checkin process fast and simple. Everything is key code so there were no keys to keep up with. The Lodge is absolutely beautiful inside and out. Our room was huge with nice furnishings and decoration. As soon as we opened the door you could smell how clean it was. We LOVED our screened in porch! The kitchen was stocked with all kinds of coffee, tea and pastries for grab and go and it was stocked with all the cooking essentials if you chose to cook. We absolutely would recommend staying here!

The property was very nice, my first experience at a Lodge so it was different not having a staff or seeing anyone. The instructions for check in were very precise but unusual. Very quiet and clean. The lighting in the room was dim and as a woman the lighting in the bathroom could have been brighter. There was no blow dryer or ironing board/iron in the room and I didn't know how to contact anyone about it. I wish the room would have had some instructions in it for issues like this.
