Beautiful house on the beach

Beautiful house on the beach. When we arrived Saturday the garbage cans were over flowing with garbage and already smelled .The garbage was not picked up until Wednesday. We found a cockroach in the upstairs bathroom. Our refrigerator quit cooling but it was fixed by Wednesday. Our pool never looked clean even after the pool man cleaned it. This house is lovely and these were the only issues we had. It was a great vacation.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Hilton Head, Singleton Beach, and the location of the house. The house was roomy and the kitchen was well equipped. We had problems with the elevator door being stuck on the 4th floor (due to humidity most likely). The shower fixtures were very hard to use and had problems getting the hot water on in two bathrooms. Maintenance was very responsive to our needs. The air conditioner (I think) was loud at night. One of our guests tripped and fell on the board walk going down to the beach. Part of the planks had been replaced, but not the one area where the guest fell, injured her knee, and was on crutches the whole week. The toiletries were very scarce, only a tiny bar soap in each bathroom. The pool was very warm, which was nice, but there was a lot of sand and palm tree droppings in the pool. The pool man came on Wednesday and cleaned the pool, one day before we left. It would have been nice for him to come the Wednesday before the start of our trip. The chairs in the house were heavy wood and very uncomfortable. Our experience was derailed by our guest's injury, our 10 month old baby getting sick, one guest getting covid and not being able to come, and rain and flooding the last two days of our trip. None of those issues were the fault of the vacation rental, but it did impact our enjoyment.

The beach was beautiful and not crowded at all. We loved everything about the house, from the open concept kitchen, large balconies and direct beach access - we couldn't be happier! Vacation Homes of Hilton Head were a breeze to deal with. Andi was so nice and helpful. We will return!

However the management company was very responsive and agreed to pro rate the expense. The view and beach location are amazing. A really regrettable rental

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental had many problems which were not addressed in a “timely manner.” I would not rent from Vacation Homes of Hilton Head again.And I would not recommend VHHH to a potential renter.How can a rental agency close at 5pm Saturday and stay closed all daySunday ... with guest occupancy starting at 5pm Saturday.

Good luck gettjng someone to answer the phone. Called, emailed and left voicemails for the pool to be cleaned. It wasnt cleaned until the last day of our trip.

We walked into the house and all stared to scream how beautiful it was , went all over the house so incredibly magnificent!. Then went outside with a wonderful pool ,a awesome oceanfront , walked to the path to the beach , PURE HAVEN incredible ocean, wow jaw dropping . Very beautiful neighborhood, everything you need, all so close to get ,stores, restaurants.The listing honestly doesn't give the beach area a justice . The property manager was always quick to respond in answering any questions.I will book this home every year if I could . The best vacation home I ever rented! To the owner , from the bottom of my heart thank you so much for making my vacation a wonderful memory . People rent it you'll be so happy you did .
