This is a wonderfully clean and comfortable unit with a calming/relaxing decor. The ocean views are beautiful and the beach access is easy and pleasant. The Island Getaway was very helpful and all was in order when I arrived unexpectedly very late since I had some car issues plague my journey. I would stay here again without reservation. Only reason I did not rate 'Property' a 5 Stars is that the TV is tucked into the furniture and could be hard to see if more that 2 people in the unit. Otherwise the rest of the property is fantastic even if not the most updated unit I have stayed in at Palmetto Dunes.

We went to Hilton Head for our honeymoon, we were a bit high maintenance and Island Getaway took awesome care of all our needs and set us up in a beautiful ocean side condo at a great price during high season. Thanks to Christine, Emily and Jen for all of your extra efforts. We can’t wait to come back!

This was a disappointing rental. We have rented through Island Rentals many times and have never had a bad experience. But this time the last unit was small with very little storage and the general state was “tired” with old carpet, chipped counters etc. The television service was minimal and we had to upgrade the service.The kitchen was well equipped with new pots etc. On the first day, the chefs knife handle broke but I managed to tape it back together. It was the only decent knife. The man bathroom should sink has a broken stopper so it either won’t hold water or it gets stuck and can’t be released. On top of that, six units beside, above and below us were under renovation due to a flood and there was a fair bit of noise and construction dust in the halls. In any case, we are leaving early because of the Coronavirus and will be out of the unit on Tuesday March 17.

My third stay was not a charm. I arrived early and not having received notice that I could go in, I decided to take a look. It was as ready as it would ever be. I found no linens for the fold out bed and called for some. I found that a bathroom sink was plugged but opted to just use the one that worked. TV operation was intermittent Saturday and Sunday. Monday TV would not work at all so I called Hargray who found a weak signal to the router so came Tuesday morning. As long as I had to be there for that I called about the sink. Hargray came Tuesday replaced a signal pair. Maintenance came and took an hour to clear the sink and kept the bathroom door closed all the while. I tried to watch a DVD but found no instructions for using the player so tried till I messed up the remote control. Never did get either DVD player to work and the remote for the player in the living room was covered in some brown crap. Neither the sliding door nor window locks worked and there are a dozen holes in the screen door.

We have been coming to HH every May since 1997. This year we decided to stay for the month of January. The condo was fabulous with a fantastic views. Very comfortable and felt right at home. Only concerns are that the carpet should be replaced and the blinds for the balcony did not work properly. We could never open them up entirely, but still enjoyed the view every day! we have already booked for next year!!

Beautiful view. Condo was nicely furnished. Suggestions: ceiling fan needed in bedroom, a blow dryer is a must! Beach chairs would be helpful. TV in bedroom was too small to see from the bed. Will NOT work with Island Realty again. We asked to extend our stay another day, since the condo was not being used. Island Realty screwed us! They charged us $50 MORE for the day than I had been paying. They didn’t tell me this. When I saw it on my credit card and questioned them they wouldn’t change the price.

Though we left a few days early to avoid Michael, we thoroughly enjoyed our ten days in 203 Barrington Arms. Great unit, fantastic grounds, pool and all facilities. Our second and hopefully not last stay in Barrington Arms. Wonderful food and entertainment in the area. Great place to bike, swim and walk the beach. I would suggest cleaning the spotted carpets and explaining how to dispose of recyclables, and that high tub makes getting into the shower difficult for us older folks but otherwise you can't do much better anywhere else. Great job with this place!

This unit has a great floor plan. The kitchen was loaded with all the items one would need for cooking. The view was beautiful. It was a joy to sit on the balcony after a long day. However, the carpet is atrocious. It needs replacing. The large tub is difficult to step into but the shower was wonderful. Washed off all that sand and sun screen. Thank you for replacing the pillows so quickly and for sending a repair person quickly. The one thing I would absolutely request is a fan in the bedroom. It was never comfortable to sleep since the air was stale. In all, we had a great time and really liked the Barrington Arms condo better than others in your portfolio. We are planning on coming back to stay at Barrington Arms.
