Nice house in Sea Pines

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The house was clean and the living area is open and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed having the pool to ourselves. It is a bit of a trek to the beach but doable on bikes or driving over and parking. Our granddaughter enjoyed seeing the horses and a trail ride.

Average stay

Our family of six appreciated the spacious layout and plenty of beds. However every mattress was very old and house was not as clean as we’d like. Lots of dog hair on furniture/rugs and dust on furniture. Not terrible but definitely won’t be back.

The house is nice and laid out well however, we sawdeferred maintenance- dishwasher broke the first time we used it, some light switches and/or lights don’t work, cracked tile in tub, missing bath drain. It’s doable but not as pleasant as hoped for.

80th bday celebration

The house is nice and comfortable. However, we had several maintenance issues that should have not allowed the house to be rented. The hall bathroom was in the midst of repair and was taped up, mold in the vents and a clogged sink. Master bathroom shower would not drain, main bedroom light did not work. Toilets clogged multiple times. Bedroom tvs did not work. A maintenance man came by but never reported back and did not check back with us. This house should not have been rented in the condition it was in. If those items were fixed the home would be lovely. Too many mosquitos to enjoy the pool or patio. We made it work but will not rent again if managed by this company.

Great proximity to leisure trail. Pool was very nice (note that hot tub cannot be heated after Memorial Day, although this is not noted anywhere)

Great for family or golf trip

Great layout, comfortable furniture, plenty of bath towels, convenient to the golf clubhouse. I was not expecting a dog-friendly home to be this clean - the kitchen and bathrooms were immaculate. Dog hair is visible on furniture and floors, but less so than I expected. The pool was well-maintained but bc it does not get sun in the small front yard where it’s located, it wasn’t warm enough and the mosquitos were too vicious for our group to spend time outside. You need to bike or drive to food, shopping, beach, which is what the listing described. You get plenty of passes for parking/driving in the gated community, but it was a challenge to get everyone through the gates without taking the time to drive and meet them, so I suggest you get clearer instructions from the vacasa office than I did.

Family Stay

Property had a great single floor layout and enough room for a family of six. Very close to the front of the neighborhood which was helpful for running errands, and also right next to the leisure Trail.

Serene Location

this house is tucked away in Sea Pines but so close the hustle of Harbor Town it's a perfect spot. You can easily bike to anywhere in Sea Pines from the many nearby paths. House is quiet and very roomy for a large group or family. Pool is very nice and was greatly enjoyed.

Great potential but falls short on delivery

Read the pool outline closely. We got there 2 days after a storm and the pool was very dirty. Management took a day to bring in someone to clean it. I gave them all the money way ahead of our stay and they said to let them know 5-7 days a head of time to heat the pool. They never did heat it either. The equipment is so old it can’t heat both th pool and spa at same time. The yard was a mess until we left. When someone came to clean the yard we had to leave at 10:00am. Then they don’t let you in until 4. Lose a whole day. Such a rip off. If they would cut the edges in the back yard you could watch people put on the green. Beds were ok but not super comfortable. One of the master bathrooms had so much crude in the vent it was gross when you came out of the shower or use the toilet it was gross to look at. Good space inside. No washing machine soap. Yet they want you start the washer. Great potential but short on delivery.

Sea pines

We loved having the pool although the beach is quite a distance and definitely not walkable. The agency quickly had the pool cleaned and ready to use shortly after we arrived .The neighborhood was quiet and pleasant. The decor is rather dated but everything worked. We had a problem with a terrible odor of cat pee in one of the bathrooms that was disgusting. Our efforts to clean and air it were fruitless.Since this is a pet friendly property, I guess it can be attributed to a cat visiting but it surely needs to be addressed. The kitchen was well stocked with pots , dishes and utensils and there was plenty of room for 6 adults two kids and an infant.

Comfortable and good location

Property is comfortable, but showing signs of age Could use a refresh. It was nice for a quick getaway. The general description creates certain impressions about the property. Read the full disclosures in detail or you may be disappointed. Property is managed by VACASA which is a large, impersonal, corporate management company so hopefully no interaction is required other than picking up keys/codes.

Nice house and clean

We had a good time! We wish we could have been closer to beach but was still fun. Parking to the nearest public beach was unpredictable but there is a trolley....although we didn’t use. The house itself was very nice-

Overall the property was great. “But” - 2 small issues I raise only so you are aware - not to publish. 1. Kitchen counter top opposite the stove feels like there is something crusty around the whole edge. The other counter are all smooth & clean. But this counter just doesn’t “feel” clean. Like the counter needs polished. 2. Gas grill needed serious cleaning and was actually complained about by someone last month? When we lit the grill and tried to burn off the crud - the grease pan caught fire and almost burned the house roof overhang. Your cleaners need to inspect the grill and actually remove the cover. This could have been a serious accident. Again - we dealt with it and the grill worked fine - after the grease fire was out.

Great location in Sea Pines.

The rental was a great location and had plenty of space. Check in time was suppose to be 4:00pm and house did not become available until close to 5:30, despite a phone call from rental company saying it was ready at 4:00. Pool heater was broke and did not work for 3 days, finally got it to work after many phone calls to the rental company. The grill was unusable and should be replaced due to Moss and lack of upkeep.

Broken Down

This place was very nice except for 3 major things that took away valuable vacation time. 1. 2 days cold showers due to broken down water heater. 2. sliding door to pool not usable and we had to use the front door. (worker said it was like that for years) 3 Pool has an electric heater and is not very efficient it did not heat the pool well. I spoke with manager Russell Anderson and said he'd look into it. Needless to say I never got I return call.
