It is ideal for day trips, for example to Takayama, Kanazawa or the Northern Japanese Alps. The owners live right next door and are extremely hospitable and helpful. The holiday home is lovingly decorated and cozy. Only the shower cubicle built into the kitchen takes a bit of getting used to."

"The house was impeccably clean and organized. The host had already thought of every possible question and had answers written down in English in various guides and instructions. He also provided helpful maps identifying local restaurants and attractions nearby. The host had great communication and had thought of everything. "What a wonderful stay! Location is perfect for walking everywhere! The hotel was so nice had wonderful spacious rooms and the complimentary drinks were beyond expectations. Shower and bath were absolutely incredible! We stayed in connecting rooms with our two kids ages 13 and 10 and it worked out great! Beds and bedding was so cozy. Laundry on site was so helpful!"

"The property was very close to the train station (with a lot of shops and food options). The rooms and bathroom are large. Unfortunately the bathtub was dirty. There is an also Starbucks next door which is convenient if you need a quick coffee. The breakfast was 5,000 yen per person so we passed. The drinks at the bar were also overpriced and they charged me a fee for the bar even though I’m a Hyatt member and it was supposed to be waived. Ordered desert and it was disgusting. Had better at 7-11."
