"All I can say is wow! Absolutely amazing!!!! Everything we needed was there! The privacy makes it perfect to stay there the whole time or venture out!!!! Perfectly located!!! Anything and everything was so close!!!!!! We enjoyed the board games and Stormy the outside kitty was perfect as we arean animal family and missed our back home! We were celebrating birthdays and the owners thoughtfully left a card balloon and stuff to makes smores!!!!! Poppys Place was the perfect home away from home! The owner was so amazing and on top of it!!!!!!"

"This truly is a cozy camper! It has everything you need for a visit to Fayetteville, WV. Clean space with attention to detail, quiet and great outdoor amenities, and wonderful hosts! We were a family of 4 with a seven and 1 year old and it was perfect for us! Highly recommend this unique spot!!"

"Trains, River, and Mountain view with enough room for a five-person family, and updated cold air conditioning and kitchen. The location is nice for deploying by car across the New River Gorge region. In West Virginia fashion, expect 3-7 coal trains a night at the nearby double crossing. Their horns can be startling if you’re a light sleeper. Our kids didn’t mind at all and loved the trains. Even the Amtrak Cardinal line runs through 3x a week at 10:30 am. The owner instantly approved our request and provided good instructions for the stay. We loved the misty mountain view in the mornings from the front porch. It’s about a 100 yard walk to the New River, with boat access. Most of the time the area is very quiet and serene. This was our first trip to the New River Gorge, and I definitely think we’ll be back."

"Our stay was very comfortable! There was a small wasp nest on the porch gate that was concerning. We contacted the host and he arrived within 45 minutes to take care of it. We had everything we needed and would definitely book this house again."
