"The lotte is a great choice in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), its on the river with easy access to the city. We tried walking--it's almost impossible because of the motorcycles--even on the sidewalks. Taxis are cheap and easy to find at hotels all over town. The breakfast buffet is vast--western style or Asian. The hotel has a great pool that is very refreshing. You can walk out the back way to the night market which has amazing food in stalls and all kinds of merchandise. There are also day markets and street markets to satisfy all shopping needs/wants. Hotel staff were extremely helpful & service was excellent. Easy to recommend."

"The hotel was a wonderful respite from the traffic & crowds of Saigon. The staff were always friendly and welcoming. Not a big hotel but everything you need is there. Loved the Japanese-style toilet and jacuzzi-style bathtub. The daily afternoon teas were a nice touch. It’s so conveniently located and Nguyen Hue walking street, Saigon Centre (Takashimaya), Ben Thanh and loads of restaurants and street food vendors are within close proximity. "

"The hotel is in a very convenient location of HCM city, it’s within walking distance to many entertainment areas and restaurants. The staff is very professional and courteous, breakfast was decent and it allows you to access a full gym in the next connected building. The only thing I dislike is the check-out process, they made me wait until they inspected the room before finalizing the check out even though they already had my deposit upon check-in. I stayed at this hotel 3 different times within a 2 weeks period and they held me up during the check out every time."
