Pauline was such a kind and gracious host to my friends and I. We loved talking with her over breakfast which she serves at Orana house. The house has a wonderful ambiance, with gardens and a view to match. I highly recommend anyone who wishes for a more unique and personal stay in Hobart. One day we'll be back Pauline 😊

Very good stay. Exactly what we were looking for to begin our Tasmanian driving holiday. Clean, simple accommodation at a reasonable price. Breakfast included was a bonus. My only criticism would be the weight of the doona which I found to be very heavy.

The quality and style of the antique property and content is a refreshingly stunning and breathtaking experience and the friendliness and accommodating owners are incredibly generous upgrading my standard room booking to a spa room on arrival with a last minute late 9.30pm booking and after 10pm arrival I couldn't have been more satisfied with my stay and I was happy enough to book a further two more nights following this overnight booking a ten out of ten xxx

It was so quiet and comfortable we had a beautiful view of Hobart. Felt like being at home a wonderful breakfast with the other guests in the dining room. Very restful and unique. We will return again and again

Lovely Home
A beautifully restored home in the suburb of Hobart. Self check in went smoothly and they provided a very nice hot breakfast. Shared washer and dryer as well as refrigerator. Grounds had the potential to be beautiful but needed a little tender living care. Would definitely stay there again.

Charming old home close to downtown
The hotel is in a charming old place with lots of beautiful common spaces you can use including the kitchen. Breakfast was wonderful with a wide selection of cold items and hot items. They were very helpful to serve breakfast early for us and to print our boarding passes. We would have liked to chance to meet them when we checked in so that felt a bit impersonal. It was a short drive to the wharf in Hobart.

Step back in time.
Beautiful old home with a fascinating history all documented in books available to read. Owner Stan was so helpful, enjoyed good chats and the service was great - ample breakfast in lovely dining room with drinks available all day. Use of kitchen also throughout the day to prepare own food if wanted. Easy bus ride into Hobart if no car. Would 100% recommend.
