FUNKY AND PRIVATE BUNGALOW - The Hideout is a modern & private space just a stones throw away from the Hobart CBD in a quiet street in Sandy Bay. It's quality and luxury combined and ready to be enjoyed by either solo travellers or a group of 2.
The bungalow features a separate bedroom area and ensuite, kitchenette and lounge space. There is also an undercover outdoor lounge area which can be fully enclosed and sunny courtyard for guests to enjoy. Internet is included and parking is on-street.
The Space:
Recently renovated, 'The Hideout' is a modern space, tastefully fitted out with an earthy feel. This bungalow is ideal for singles or a couple, comfortably fitting up to two people.
A private entrance leads through the garden courtyard with views to Mount Wellington and also features a covered sitting area which can be enclosed when the weather isn't playing nice. The kitchen/living area has all essential appliances and the bedroom is furnished with a queen bed.
The Hideout shares it's address with another dwelling however is a completely private, self-contained and fully fenced space with it's own street access.
There is no off-street parking, however parking is generally not an issue as it is a suburban neighbourhood.
There are no laundry facilities on site, however there is a dry cleaner (Lilywhites) about 5 minutes walk away or you could launder your own clothes in Salamanca Square at Machine Cafe and grab a bite to eat at the same time - it would be a 5 minute drive in the car (the food is great).
Guest Access:
The Hideout offers a self check-in so arrival at any time after 2pm is fine. Sandy Bay is is adjacent to the CBD of Hobart and enjoys leafy streets and easy commuting to popular attractions.
Whether you are driving, catching public transport, using Uber/cabs or walking - it's all convenient and straight-forward. An Uber ride into the CBD costs around $10 and you could walk in around 20-25 mins. Access to the waterfront/MONA ferry would also take around 20-25 mins from The Hideout. Parking is on-street and generally not an issue.
The Neighborhood:
The Hideout is a ten minute walk from the upmarket Sandy Bay shopping village where there are boutique shops, a variety of eateries, supermarkets, bottle shops and a laundromat. For your coffee fix there is a coffee shop a mere 2 minute walk away at popular Giddy Up in Princes Street.
Getting Around:
The Hideout is a thirty minute walk to the centre of Hobart and Salamanca Place and Sandy Bay Village is ten minute walk.
