Hogg Island

A nice and clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of high-quality food. The hotel is conveniently located close to attractions and restaurants. The only downside is that the hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant, but this wasn’t a problem since there are plenty of places nearby where you can have lunch or dinner.

Positives: great location; spacious room; great room; comfortable bed; friendly staff; convenient self-park options (with ev charging stations) adjacent to the hotel; 11am regular checkout time. Negatives: veeery slow elevators; “tired” room (e.g., cabinets that didn’t close properly because of loose hinges, extensive staining on the carpet - badly hidden with extra furniture, couches that had lost all plushness, pullout couch mattress that had seen better days).
