「Although a bit dated, the property was VERY clean and well maintained. The front desk was SUPER friendly and helpful. Great location close to everything and an easy walk downtown.」

「Excellent locations. Bigger than it appears or posted. Restaurant on site was excellent great salad bar food all around was great.」

「The staff was very helpful」

「Room was exactly as depicted. Clean, smelled fresh, bed was very comfortable! Despite being on a major roadway and it was a busy holiday weekend, the other tenants were quiet, road noise was minimal. The parking lot is a bit cramped but it’s a smaller lodge so to be expected. The staff were so considerate and helpful. Their recommendation for the Thai place around the corner was spot on. Delicious! Would definitely recommend The Lodge as a reasonably priced comfortable place to spend the...

「Check in was odd. No one was available so had to call and got texted the room # and door code. Small issue with curtains off track, but got corrected quickly. The room was clean and nicely renovated. Outside doesn't give the same nice vibe. Quiet at night. The bed is the foam kind, so feels like sink into hole. Not to my liking, but others may like that style of bed. Overall satisfied with the stay.」

「Our room was secluded & quiet. Location was great & easy to manage. People were friendly & accommodating. Thumbs up! 👍」

「Good location on the highway that was close access to the historic downtown area. The back deck area and tables were great to sit out, watch the deer in the woods or chat with some of the other guests.」

「Friendly staff, available when needed. Although the place is outdated, they kept it clean and well-maintained.」

「This was one of the best trips my wife have ever taken. Darrell and Susan were a delight, the B&B was beautiful and very well kept, and the food was spectacular. We will certainly be back.」

「parking was plentiful but we were not certain how exactly to position our vehicle because there are no markings nor instructions that we found. not a big deal but we noticed it.」

「Check was easy. Gentleman who helped us got us a room with a jacuzzi tub due to a cancellation and did not charge us full price. Helped us get settled in our room and made sure we were happy. Very quiet place. Beautiful scenery. Close to downtown without the downtown traffic. Will definitely return.」

「The service was very kind, especially because I got in after hours, but the room left something to be desired. The main concern was a few spider webs with daddy long-legs and some general wear and tear in the room. The jacuzzi tub worked though!」

「The room was very clean, the breakfast was great. The room was very small with no comfortable chairs.」

「Staff were very nice and helpful! Cute little cabin!」

「I really enjoyed staying at the property. The staff was excellent. We really enjoyed the lounge area where there were several games to play, snacks, drinks, music streaming. They have a lovely fire pit and outdoor seating areas. An outdoor movie/sauna area, pool, hammocks, pickleball court and ping pong table. The property is surrounded by forest with trails. I will definitely stay at the property again if I find myself in the area. The only con was the driveway/road between the street,...

「Very nice stay in an old Victorian house. The neighborhood and the town are unique and quirky! We stayed in the Captain Bridgeford room. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was small but functional with a claw foot tub that has a shower.」
