Family fun
We had a crew of relatives with 6 kids and 9 adults and this place was so accommodating for our crowd. Kids loved great bunk room. The deck are worked out well for our only personal outdoor space. Kitchen was huge and well stocked. Manager was very attentive. Would go again.

Perfect Accommodation for our family
Met every needs we had. Accommodations were superb. Family meals on the deck in the evening were wonderful. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were so well equipped with towels and other necessities. Kitchen was a delight for meal preparation and very spacious.

This is a great house for several families (4) to stay in. The bunk room is ideal for the children (8) to sleep. It’s only a mile from Holland Beach and five miles to downtown Holland. You could not ask for more gracious hosts than Rod and Marie. The kitchen is very well set up and the large deck makes for a great gathering place!

Awesome time at The Barn
We had our entire extended family for the week here, and could not have had a better time - the lake! the biking! the pool and hot tub! the playground! Owners are extremely responsive to concerns, and very helpful - even a mechanic recommendation when one of our cars needed it!

Wonderful rental for Vaca
Everyone in our family loved staying at “The Barn”, there is so much room to spread out and the covered deck was great. Light the gas fireplace and relax. Would love to go back sometime😊

Wonderful weekend!
We had such a lovely time at the barn for our girls weekend! The place is absolutely massive and so well maintained. We felt so comfortable relaxing in the family room and cooking in the kitchen. There was plenty of hot water and privacy for everyone. Would definitely return!

Beach Week
This makes the fifth time we have stayed at The Barn and it was as enjoyable as ever. Eight adults and six kids (4-11) fit very well with lots of space. The kitchen is well equipped and we cooked several meals easily. The bunk room has been a great sleeping area for all the kids and a haven for the adults. Very close downtown Holland, the Holland Farmers' Market, great restaurants and only 1 mile from Holland State Park. Our granddaughter recommends 5 million stars...but we can only have space for 5. Best ‘Barn’ Vacation
We had a wonderful time staying at ‘The Barn’ in Holland! It was so special having our family together in this beautiful home and making memories that will last a lifetime! Rod and Marie were very accommodating and helpful, especially responding immediately to any needs we had. It was great having so many amenities in the house, at the resort and places to enjoy in the area. The owners take pride in keeping their property clean and safe for their guests. It was a perfect place for our family vacation and we hope to come back!

Michigan Family Vacation
We had a wonderful family vacation at this beautiful home. I can't express enough how beautiful and clean the home was. The patio was beautiful and we had access to the pool and playground close by. The owners were wonderful to work, so kind and went out of their way for us. Such a great place and close to Lake Michigan with lots to do and all is close by. I hope to come back again.

Excellent family reunion property
Our experience at the Barn was wonderful! Rod and Maria were fantastic. We had 5 different families all coming to stay together and the space worked perfectly for our group size. The kitchen was well appointed and we cooked all our meals there. The space was well kept and clean and had everything we needed. The pool and playground on property were close and used often by the kids in the group. Overall highly recommend and we hope to book in the future.

Spacious, beautiful house in great location!
This is a great house in a very unusual location: right in the middle of an RV campground with a playground, pool, goats and chickens. The beach is about 1.5 miles down the road. What a fun spot! The house is well maintained and has all the amenities you will need for a great vacation. Lots of space for a large family get together. The kitchen is well stocked and functional.

Beautiful house with outstanding owners
This house was absolutely perfect for our extended family of 8 adults and 7 children. It was very clean with plenty of space, both for bedrooms and common space including a great outdoor patio. A fantastic public beach was only a short bike ride or walk away. Our kids loved the general store, swimming pool, and playground on site. Rod and Maria were really great hosts. When we had to cut our stay short due to a storm causing a power outage in the area, they graciously refunded the night without any hassle whatsoever. We highly recommend this property!

This house was amazing for getting our entire family together. The place is beautiful and meticulously kept up. The owners provide so many helpful items like toilet paper, garbage bags, a drying rack for your towels after a day at the beach, and even a pack n play if you have a little one. The house, location, and extra care made for an easy vacation!

We love this house! We have now stayed at The Barn 4 years in a row and everyone in the family loves it. We are a family of 8 adults, 6 children from 10-3 years of age. Everything is well maintained, clean, well-furnished, well-stocked, and comfortable. We appreciate the close proximity to downtown Holland and Holland State Park. Rod and Marie run a great campground/resort and are super friendly. We are heading back again next Summer!

Family weekend
We came with 11 family members (6 adults and 5 kids) for a weekend in Holland visiting the area and the lake. The barn worked so well for our large group and the Oak Grove campground is a nice place and very well kept. It was quiet and the pool was great for kids. Nice, small playground for little kids. Great location for riding bikes or driving to the beach at Holland State park—long walk on a hot day. We really enjoyed it and the hosts were very nice and easy to communicate with if we had a question.

THE BEST FAMILY VACATION
This was the first time all of my adult siblings and our kids decided to vacation together and we could not have found a more perfect place to do it. Everything about the property is internationally and thoughtfully put together. Inside there is SO MUCH ROOM! And if you are traveling with quite a few young children like we were, there is no concern with being able to put them down and still continue hanging out around the house disturbing them. There’s a playground, basketball court, pool, small petting area with goats and chickens and a bike rental onsite! It’s so perfect in every way. We had a fabulous time and hope we are able to visit all together there again soon. If you’re looking for the perfect place to host a big family or group, look no further, you have found it! I promise! P.S. The hosts are exceptionally gracious and readily available as an extra bonus. :) Enjoy your time!

Absolute gem in Holland
Our extended family of 13 people reaching all ages has traveled and stayed in many homes - The Barn is absolutely a favorite! Absolutely beautiful home with tons of character and incredibly nice, accessible owners. The layout, storage, etc of the home was planned to perfection. The proximity to lake Macatawa and Lake Michigan was exactly what we wanted and very hard to find - Easy bike ride! What we weren’t expecting is how much we would love the surrounding community! The pool, playground, basketball court, the goats - and the wonderful people we met and played with were such an added bonus for our kids. Thanks for a wonderful holiday weekend!

This is our third year staying at "The Barn" and we are very glad we came. We have 4 families with 8 adults and 6 kids and The Barn fits us all very well. The kids particularly like the bunk room as it is perfect for them to keep all of their stuff and sleep together in the same room. The Barn is handy to Holland State Park/Beach, downtown Holland, shopping, restaurants, the marina, etc. We always find it very clean, a well-equipped kitchen, and ready for us to move in. We particularly like the large deck for eating and hanging out in the evening. I'm sure we will be back again.

The location is perfect for daily access to the beach and hiking in Holland State Park. We loved the space, we never felt crowded and we had 7 adults and 8 kids. We stayed here over thebLabot Day weekend. The house is fantastic. It was well equipped and the layout and decor were awesome. The resort is close to all things Holland. Our only negative is the in and out traffic to the resort right outside the front door. With little kids coming in and out it was a little nerve racking. .

Great house!
Our family recently vacationed here and loved the big, beautiful "barn!" The house is so nicely decorated and very well maintained, with plenty of space to be together. I couldn't believe the kitchen (which is very well stocked) was still functional with so many of us in there. The pool is so convenient - just a few steps away - and the beach was just a mile or so down the road. We hope to visit again!

Annual Family Beach Week--Holland, MI
This is our second year in a row staying at "The Barn". There are 15 of us ranging in age from 21 months to 67 years, 6 children enjoyed sharing and sleeping in the bunk room. We selected this location for the second time due to it's close proximity to both Holland State Park and downtown Holland. We also like the space "The Barn" provides us for this large group. We appreciate the outdoor eating deck especially early in the morning and into the evening. Very comfortable all around.

The Glorious Barn
The Baker Family Fell in Love with the Barn. The 7 young children ran from room to room discovering nooks and crannies that allowed small groups and privacy for all. The large kitchen and dinning room also allowed us all to be together. I haven't even mentioned the large deck where we gathered every night. We had a great time and will return.

Wonderful family reunion site!
This was a fantastic property to have our family reunion! The Barn is equipted with all the amenities and a place for everyone, even those who had to do some work. Close to Ottawa beach and a place to kayak. The bike paths go everywhere you would like to go. Pool and spa were great even though we didn't use them very often because the weather was perfect for the beach.

Great Stay for our Big Family
We stayed at the Barn with 6 adults and 9 children (first cousins). We were supposed to have two more adults with the group, but they were unable to attend at the last minute. The accommodations were just as described and better. There was plenty of room for together time and alone time. The sleeping areas were all clean and comfortable, and the living areas were spacious and inviting. We prepared two-to-three meals a day in the giant kitchen, and enjoyed eating outside on the deck. The resort grounds are well kept. The general store is well stocked and very reasonably priced, and the kids loved the swimming pool. The owners were fantastic to deal with. They take great pride in the service they provide, and they were easy to contact and talk to at every step of the way. This was our first time in the Holland area and we loved it. We highly recommend the Barn for your large family. This was our first (of hopefully many) sibling/cousin trips to come - and we hope to return to the Barn next year. Thank you for helping us make these wonderful family memories!

Great for large family vacations...
We stayed at the Barn the first week of August and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We found the location very handy to Holland State Park and downtown Holland where we enjoyed the Holland Farmer's Market. We had 8 adults and 6 children, ages 8 months to 7 years. The house was very clean, well-organized, and accommodated all of us easily. The kids loved the bunk room. The garage below the deck was a great spot to store a vehicle as well as beach toys, etc. The kitchen was spacious and fully equipped (could have used an ice cream scoop...). The deck was great for sitting out and enjoying an early morning coffee or catching up at the end of the day. We would definitely consider renting this property again in the future. Dan Johnston

The property is very well maintained and clean. The house was well stocked with all essentials.
We had a wonderful vacation at The Barn. We were10 adults (5 couples) and 6 children and the property had space enough for all to have both privacy and together time. The house was very clean and well maintained. Everything that we needed (except beach towels) was provided. Maria and Rod were perfect hosts and responsive to our needs. The camping area in the same resort was quiet and provided like-aged children for our grandchildren to play with. We were very comfortable having them outside as we could view the adjacent playground from the living room. The pool was nice and very close to the house. We would certainly rent the property again if we needed such a large house in the area.
