This home was obviously a half-effort quick flip that was in very poor condition originally. The parts that have been re-done are very nice, but the major structural problems are scary and there is a lot that was not finished. It fit our needs for the weekend, but we will not stay here again.
Pros: Lots of space, comfortable beds, mostly very clean (except for rugs and shower curtain liners), outdoor space was nice, kitchen is very nice with new appliances and everything you need for cooking, sheets and towels provided, one bundle of firewood provided, great location.
Cons: The entire second floor of this house and the staircase are significantly sloped, undulate throughout the rooms, and you can tell that there are holes in the subfloor in places. Like one side of the room is a foot higher than the other and you can't even open the closet doors. There is no way that this is structurally sound or meets the building code. The tubs are also not caulked, so you are adding water damage to this problem with every shower. Rent at your own risk!
Nitpicking: The downstairs bathroom barn door does not fully close so there is little privacy. The house next door appears to also be a short term rental and has a pool, and you can hear them easily through the exterior walls.
