This was an absolutely lovely place to vacation! It was cheerfully decorated, very clean and convenient to nearby destinations. It was such a relaxing atmosphere and felt very private, which was amazing. We will definitely be staying here again!

Great Saugatuck place to stay

Great location, super clean!

The owners thought of everything! This was the perfect place for us to stay for a few nights while in town for a wedding. The condo was very clean, had any extras we needed, and was an easy walk or drive into town! We will be back!

A relaxing getaway in a beautiful space

The cottage was super clean, well appointed and in a great location for walking to downtown or driving. Very quiet, didn’t hear neighbors or road traffic. We would definitely return!

This is an exceptionally clean place that is well-appointed with anything you might need to feel relaxed and at home. It is located a lovely and easy 1 mile walk to Saugatuck (which we did at least once a day.) Friendly and responsive owner!

We love the blueberry cottage

This is our 2nd year saying at the blueberry cottage. John is very way to communicate with, the property is maintained meticulously, it’s near oval beach and downtown. We love everything about it. The only problem is going back home at the end of our stay! We wish we could stay in Saugatuck forever!

Blueberry Cottage Never Disappoints

We love heading to Saugatuck at least a few times per year and the Blueberry cottage is a perfect location- close to downtown area, bicycling paths, dune rides and more! The accommodations are super clean and the host is super responsive. We didn't take advantage of the fire pit this year due to rain, but that is always a great addition to the property if you want to just chill at night after the day out exploring!

A nice weekend

Definitely an excellent weekend getaway, definitely would work best for couples. A little excessive on the night lights lol but overall a really nice stay. Also it’s 5 minutes from Biggby coffee so that’s a plus!

Nice place to stay

The cottage was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. Washer/Dryer is a bonus. Did not hear any noise from neighbors in attached cottages. Only improvement we would recommend would be satellite or cable TV, just has streaming service.

Fathers day weekend

The bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen were very good, but the dehumidifier was so obnoxiously loud we would hesitate returning in the future. You would have to turn the TV volume up significantly everytime the dehumidifier came on and it automatically turned on every few minutes. When sleeping in the bedroom you would very distinctly hear the dehumidifier. Very obnoxious.

A bit outside of the central hub of Saugatuck, but quaint.

The property manager was super responsive when we needed the grill cleaned. The "backyard" was big and added bonus of the firepit and an invite each night from the host was great. This property is a row of 4 units akin to an old motel property, so the other guests are close by and share the backyard and fire pit. If you are looking for more privacy and a stand-alone experience this might not work. The inside of the unit is super cute with coordinated decor and many updates for a cozy lake house feel.

Immaculate cottage within walking distance to town

John has thought of everything. Comfortably sleeps 6. Fully furnished kitchen with a Weber grill in the back. Ping pong table in the garage. Online TV. Lots of board games. Get this - we were the first renters for the season and since he forgot to put a propane tank for the grill and didn’t have oven pans in the house, he gave us a breakfast/brunch treat at The Grow in town - lovely gesture!

Blueberry Cottage was lovely in many ways. It was located very near Saugatuck and easy to find. The home had two nice bedrooms, a comfortable living room and fully stocked kitchen; there was also a grill in the backyard if you wanted to use it. All was in great condition. The backyard was large and had lovely gardens. There was a picnic table and chairs around a fire pit. We met the owner, and he was so very nice and ready to help with anything. I accidentally left some belongings and he quickly shipped these to me and wouldn't accept payment. So nice!

We really enjoyed our stay! It was conveniently located to downtown Saugatuck and had several restaurants within walking distance. The bike/walking path right across the street was an added plus. We enjoyed several beaches that were close by. John thinks about everything which makes your stay wonderful! Don’t look any further!!

Blueberry Cabin Stay July 2025

Great Saugatuck stay. The cabin was as described and very very clean! Easy check in and check out. Great location right outside of town and across the street from the walking path. Quiet and relaxing. Love having a Kuerig in the kitchen. I would recommend Ps- loved the coffee table books

Getaway with my granddaughters

The property was as advertised, extremely clean and Blueberry Cottage was near some of our destinations.Would've loved to take advantage of the firepit and making use of the backyard, but we were too busy. We did thoughenjoy playing ping-pong one night. It was a perfect stay.Thank you!
