Moms 83rd Birthday

We had an our mom’s 83rd birthday party here. The house was very accommodating and everyone really enjoyed every room having an on-suit bathroom. We utilized the pellet smoker and cooked a delicious brisket which was enjoyed by everyone.

Great stay at the Governors Getaway

Loved our stay at the Governors Getaway. Our family especially loved the upstairs game room. There were some very competitive competitions at the dart board and the golf game, and my husband loved the jukebox. The accommodations were all fantastic, and we were within easy driving distance of the shows and marina, plus the view of the lake is AWESOME!!!

Unbelievable House for Family Reunion

This house could not have been more perfect for us! We had 10 couples and each couple had their own king size bed and bathroom. The two bunk rooms were amazing as well. There was so much space, so many different sitting areas, and so many games and entertainment options. The two giant dining room tables were wonderful for eating meals together and the hot tub and indoor pool were the icing on the cake. We enjoyed out time in this house so much!

Governor's Getaway - Top Notch

Fabulous Family Reunion

Wow-words can't explain this place! It's the perfect home for every age! The rooms are large and comfortable, the arcade games kept everyone entertained, the decks are cozy and perfect for late night glasses of wine. Can't say enough about this place!

Simply Amazing stay at Governor's Mansion

Words do not do the property nor the responsiveness of the management team justice. This large, luxurious home which was absolutely beautiful and immaculate, made the celebration of my mom's 89th birthday memorable and fit for the Queen she is. The name, Governor's Mansion is definitely befitting. The only sad part was having to leave!!!

Getaway at Governors Getaway

My father wanted to bring all five families together in one place, and this location exceeded our expectations. We spent two full days just hanging out at the house, cooking, laughing, and enjoying each other's company. We thought the kids would want to venture out, but there were so many activities to keep them entertained. With ages ranging from 3 to 15, every child found something they loved. They all declared it the best vacation ever.
