The house is beautiful and the location was perfect. It was clean when we arrived but were surprised to have to make the beds! There were plenty of activities for the kids at the house and many things to do in walking distance! I would definitely return

Perfect Large Family Vacation!

Excellent property in great shape, comfortable inside and out, excellent location and wonderful host! Adequate and comfortable furniture throughout! Great kitchen accessories, pool toys and deck furniture! All 15 people agreed that the stay was thoroughly enjoyed by each and every one!

Growing family vacation!!

This house was amazing! My 4 kids, spouses and 7 grandchildren all were comfortable in the house - everyone had privacy and lots of opportunities to be together. The pool was a life saver!! The surf was a little rough this week - so the pool was awesome for the younger kids and of course we all jumped in!

Great vacation home!

Very short walk to the beach, beds were all comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked, pool was great. Walking distance to pier, restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Family Vacation Home

The property was exactly as advertised... Whenever I go on vacation and rent from a website I always am concerned that it won't be what it is advertised as. The description and pictures of this property are extremely accurate. Everyone had an awesome time! There was plenty of room. Kitchen is well stocked, the pool has lots of toys. I highly recommend this home for an extended family vacation

Great Vacation Home, Great Host!

We returned to Southern Comfort for at least the fifth time. The home (not just a house) is great for our extended family. The beach is a short walk (about 500 feet) and there is a pool in the back yard. New landscaping add to the beauty of the location. Furnishing inside are up to date and very comfortable. Space is conducive to our multi-generational blended family's activities. Ted, the host is always responsive to questions and help is always prompt and responsive. We've been to other places but regularly return to Southern Comfort. Guests are in good hands with Ted!

This was our second year at the property. We had a GREAT time yet again. We had adults ranging from 25 to 75 years old and 2 infants who were one year old and two months old. The accommodations were good for everyone, and the location is absolutely the best. We spend a lot of time on the balconies and at the pool, and the furniture is perfect for those places. Having the pool was especially helpful with the infants, though we had them at the beach as well. There were some improvements to the property since we were there last year and all were great.Iā€™ve stayed at several VRBO locations around the world, and Ted is by far the best host I have dealt with. Heā€™s always responsive and actually gets things done. His attention to detail is great. Weā€™ll definitely be staying at the property again. Thanks, Ted!!

Great family beach retreat

Our family of 19 people (2 seniors, 9 adults, 8 kids ages 1-14) stayed for the perfect summer beach week. Ted the owner was very responsive to any concerns, location was close to the beach, beds very comfortable, room for everyone.

Great Beach Getaway!!!!

My husband & I rented this home for a week for an annual beach trip with the family. We all just loved the vibe of Topsail/Surf City! The house was great, too, though larger than we needed. Great place ~ weā€™ll definitely be back!

Our stay was great. Optimal for multi family stay. House was beautiful, location was amazing with ocean views from multiple levels of the house. Very short walk to the beach. Hosts were very receptive even dropping off a new coffee maker next day when the old one died.
