Location:
This beautifully renovated home is a second-row home located on South Shore Drive (the beach road) in Surf City, about a mile south of the high-rise bridge and just across the street from the ocean. South Shore Drive, a preferred location on Topsail Island, provides easy access to groceries, restaurants, activities, and shopping found in the central business district, as well as easy access on and off the island via the high-rise bridge. As a secondary road, South Shore Drive maintains a 25-mph speed limit, allowing vacationers to enjoy walking, running, and biking just steps away from the beach. The home provides the best of both worlds on island with the proximity to the central business district while maintaining a secluded beach-feel with the private backyard amenities. When staying at Seaquestered, you will not have far to go to enjoy a day on the beach; the house is located just 300 feet from the beach access, with a beach cart provided. If you enjoy fishing or boating, you can bring your boat to the island. Seaquestered is located less than a 1 mile from the public boat ramp, and our driveway can easily accommodate up to a 30' boat/trailer. If you like to fish in the ocean, the boat ramp is roughly 8 miles via the ICWW from Topsail Inlet. One of Surf City's sound side parks is also just a short walk away with basketball courts, picnic area, playground and walk-out pier. After a day on the beach or on the sound, return to the backyard oasis to enjoy the private pool, hot tub, fire-pit, and Wilmington grill. Then head into Surf City to enjoy the quaint restaurant and shopping district - it's just a short bike ride or drive up South Shore Drive. Our home's location makes it easy to enjoy all Topsail Island has to offer for your vacation.
House and Amenities:
Downstairs has a large living/dining/kitchen open floor plan, one bedroom (king), a full bathroom (with luxury, marble, walk-in shower), a laundry room, and a large, walk-in pantry. Upstairs has two bedrooms (one king room; one with a bunk bed that has two full beds, with an additional twin trundle), a full bath, and a loft area for sleeping, gaming, or watching TV (area sleeps three with a sofa bed and futon). The house has a total sleeping capacity of 10-12 people. The main living area opens to a large deck facing the ocean. The laundry area opens to a back deck that stands above the pool area. The home sits on a deep lot full of beautiful, native live oaks and scenic landscaping, with plenty of room for children to play. The fenced, private backyard provides the perfect spot for guests to unwind with a large, heated pool with a slide and plenty of room surrounding the pool to lounge, grill and enjoy time with friends and family. The front area provides additional outdoor seating, an outdoor shower, picnic table and ping-pong table.
