“The room was lovely. Very comfortable with lots of character and facilities making it a very cosy experience. Fran was very friendly,welcoming me on arrival and showing me where everything was including the invitation to sit in her beautiful garden. The fridge was stocked with fruit and milk and there was a selection of cereals, teas and coffee on a tray for breakfast. This was everything I needed. “Good value especially given the location in the centre of town in the more historic part of the town near to St Wulfrums church and some good historic pubs”

“We were put in the annex roof room which had suffered earlier water damage. While we understand that Victorian houses are not the same as today's the stairs were extremely narrow and dangerous, especially when carrying suitcases. The windows also need replacing, the double glazing was a manual effort”

“Very disappointing stay. The room I booked was already occupied when I arrived. I was moved to a smaller room that did not match what I paid for three people, and my children had to find accommodation elsewhere. The place was not very clean and had an unpleasant smell. The kitchen was dirty. I did not even wait for breakfast. I chcked out very early in the morning.”
