A beautiful stay at Cradle Mountain Hotel. We retirned back tothe hotel on first night to a card and chocolates for my birthday from rhe hotel which was lovely.The meal at Altitude was amazing.

The proximity of this resort to Cradle Mountain was the best thing about it. Almost directly across from the shuttle stop to go up the mountain. Kitchen was adequate for a longer stay. And size was great for a small family. It was just 2 if us so we did not need the extra bedroom. The main lodge was busy and had no reservations for dinner left when we arrived but we were able to order pizza to take out that was really good. Cabins were basic but functional. Nice view from the porch in the morning.

The rooms are a bit dated, as are the buildings but best place to stay to visit Cradle Mountain with kids. Loved it all! We saw platypus and wombats right outside our room. The restaurant was fabulous and all the staff were very helpful.
