「The property was located near restaurants within walking distance. However, it seemed to be behind an abandoned business. It wasn't very clean. I had to sweep and vacuum under the couches and around that area due to all the crumbs, etc. and the shower liner looked to have some black mold. Also the internet seemed to be a bit spotty. The space was functional and worked for us overall. Probably wouldn't stay here again.」

The cottage was very comfortable and clean with everything we needed to cook a couple meals and entertain ourselves with some satellite tv. It is close to many restaurants and the Spit. 「Travelers should be aware that this is a duplex, not a house. Don't believe the key instructions for entry. The place was locked when we arrived. The owner did not reply to our text, so we had to use the lock code to enter. That wasn't a big issue once I found the code on the Vrbo website. Otherwise, the unit was very clean and quiet. We enjoyed the mamma moose and calf in the front yard.」

「Super relaxing and well-designed space surrounded by trees and close to the beach. Perfect kitchen for cooking and entertaining (double farmhouse sinks!), and plenty of space for families to spread out. Very quiet neighborhood. Really nice Nordic modern vibe. Location was also great, about halfway between the Spit and downtown. One of the best Alaskan homes we’ve stayed in, already planning to return next year.」
