"Daughter had a soccer tournament in the area. This was the perfect place for me and the wife to relax. Very quiet neighborhood, nice restaurants close by, and the icing on the cake, was the very warm hot tube. Will definitely stay there again when in the area. Host was great, couldn’t ask for a better experience. "

"Host seemed helpful after we spent over an hour trying to connect with the internet upon arrival (I work remotely & needed internet). He said he would try to get someone the next day but couldn't guarantee bc it was going to be Christmas Eve. I kept trying to connect and eventually ended up on the ATT site which said failure to connect was due to unpaid services. When I forwarded a screenshot of that to the host, he got the past due bills paid which restored the service. The photos showed a fenced backyard & child playground but there was no fence and the child play yard was unsafe bc of being torn from a storm. These were both key factors in my decision to choose this property (for our granddaughter). Very inaccurate & disappointing! The layout was nice and beds were comfortable. However the kitchen offering for cooking was very inadequate with rusty pans, pots & skillets. It didn't look like the floors had been vacuumed or mopped in a long time with sticky spots scattered on floors and large dust bunnies rolled up along the floors. I have photos of everything I've mentioned. And I was charged twice for insurance of 125 x 2. So, overall I feel that I overpaid excessively for what we got. Disappointing. "

"Waycross HouseCheck-in was fine but there are a lot of things we had to go buy to make the house livable for the week. We bought pots and pans because the pots here are really old and distorted. One of the rooms has no closet, one room with a closet has no rod, and the one room with a rod, the wooden rod is not strong enough to handle all of our clothes. We were here for a church convention so we had lots of clothes for day services and night services. We also had to buy a full ironing board because the table ironing board is too small to iron our clothes. Thursday, just sitting on the bed, it started falling apart underneath. I’ve attached pictures.The hot water in the kitchen only worked for a few minutes on the first day. The remaining time we had to boil water to make dish water for cleaning the kitchen. The hot water in the shower, in the rear bathroom worked for a few days then it no longer produced hot water. The faucet in the rear bathroom never produced hot water.We have rented other homes in other locations and have never had the experience we had here. Many aspects of this stay have been an unexpected challenge. Extra money had to be spent due to many insufficiencies.I’m really disappointed. If we would have had an opportunity to stay somewhere else, we would have asked for our money back but there are not many options in Waycross. We made it work but these issues really need to be improved for future rentals. "
