The property is located close to but yet far enough from all lake amenities. As a hiking group, we this to be a great place to base while we did day hikes. Overall, a wonderful experience overall.

Perfect Homewood House for a Family Reunion

Our family had a great weekend here. The house was very clean when we arrived, and there was plenty of room for the 8 of us (and 2 toddlers) to spread out. The kitchen was well-stocked, beds were comfortable, and it was convenient to have a laundry room. The bathroom in the master suite on the ground floor is new and very luxurious; the other 2 bathrooms were fine, if a little outdated. We appreciated the outdoor deck with the barbecue grill. Location is great; the lake is only 2 blocks away and there's a bike path right down the street that follows the lake. Homewood Ski Area is less than a mile away; Tahoe City is 5-10 minutes away. Quiet and peaceful, you don't get the noise from traffic on Lakeshore Drive/89. We would definitely come back!
