"Used the hotel as our base for skiing at Holmenkollen / Skimore. Great location when the ski bus is operating, but only started driving after 10.00 in the morning. The hotel is 40 years old and it shows in certain areas as our bathroom was decent, but not renovated. Great views - Great beds and great new

"Unfortunately when we stayed there were floods in the local town and the older folks evacuated to the hotel. No fault of the hotel of course and they did let us cut short our stay with no issues. The decor is dated but with improvements it could be a great place. "

"Love this place - we wish we had stayed here 2 nights instead of just 1. We got there late so were not able to enjoy the spa. Love the comfy sitting area in each room. The restaurant was fabulous - great dinner and service even though we got there close to closing time. View was nice. Really enjoyed this hotel! Highly recommend!!"
