Door handle is tricky, so just pull handle up instead of pushing handle down after entering code. Higher elevation, so cools off at night making sleeping very comfortable. Sometimes you hear kids thumping around upstairs. Coqui frogs and murmuring ducks provide lovely nighttime orchestra. Bed is comfortable. “A great deal and situated on Alicia drive south of the Kailua-Kona nightlife district. The place was clean and comfortable and very attractively priced. Definitely the Hawaiian Hale experience! The landlord was very nice and obviously invested in our having a pleasant stay. To access the unit younger to climb a stairwell - don't rent this unit if you are unable to handle stairwells or have small (mobile not babies!) children. Perfect for a couple!
