My stay was great, property manager was quick to respond to any questions I had, location was just at the end of Waikiki and was easily accessible. Only downside but not the fault of the property management, the elevators were super slow and we spent a good amount of time waiting to go up or down. Overall amazing stay.

My family and I enjoyed our stay! Great location near (10 min walk) the beach in a quieter area but easy walking distance to all the fun things Waikiki has to offer. The beach chairs and kitchen made our stay more pleasant. Nice expansive view over the pool deck and ocean. Host staff helpful on check-in and checkout.

Location close to the beach. it’s very crowded but that is expected staying in Waikiki. The building staff was very friendly A on that. Building is crowded as well so you’ll be waiting for elevators for awhile. Parking is awful and very small spots. There were ants on my pillows and curtain when I arrived and a pair of used contacts on the floor from previous renters. The unit does come with kitchen necessities and the beach chairs were a plus. The host answered questions fairly quickly. Overall stay here was decent

Renting a condo at the Waikiki Banyan allowed us to do just that and be conveniently located walking distance from many attractions. I would definitely love to stay here again.

I will say I was a little confused on the check in process. It gave directions to call the manager once we got our bags but before we got the car. I didn’t think that was necessary. And with just getting off a 12 hour flight, that is not the first thing that you think about. So I did call and route to the condo. He never did answer. But I had an issue getting in to the condo, when I did call back, to get help with that, he answered right away and was very helpful. Very helpful with any questions we had. Great place to stay, great location. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We loved the location - fairly quiet area of Waikiki, 5 minute walk to the beach, 10 minute walk to the International Market Place. The unit came with 2 chairs and 2 umbrellas, which were helpful when we spent time at the beach. The laundry room is really close (2 doors down the hall). Cost is $3 to wash, $3 to dry. Can download the app so you don't need to get quarters. Free parking is a great amenity and convenience. Whenever I interacted with Byron, he responded quickly. Highly recommend this place. This is my 4th time using Captain Cook Resorts. Will book with them again.

Good value, great location

Positives: - Great location. Just three blocks from the center of Waikiki beach. - ocean view - comes with a parking space - laundry facilities three doors down from unit - very quiet - while we never used them, the complex has a pool, jacuzzi, tennis courts, and bbqs (although you have to pay to use the bbq - very clean - unit was as the pictures show - beach umbrellas, and two beach chairs Minor improvements recommended: - sink water faucet on right side leaked when we used it - towel bar on the shower glass sliding door fell off when we opened the shower the first time - towel bar on the wall in bathroom was loose - to “wake up” the electronic lock, you need to use your whole hand and not just a finger. Small detail but it wasn’t something we figured out for the first three days we were there, causing it to take longer to get in and leave the condo. These are minor areas for improvement and in fairness to Captain Cook, and our manager, we never told them about these issues to give them a chance to correct it. My family would recommend this complex and this condo to friends and family.

Fun in the sun in Honolulu

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hello everybody! We loved our stay at the Waikiki Banyan. Check in was very easy...a phone call and a few text messages later Byron had us set up in no time. We were very pleasantly surprised by this condo: it's got all you need. Upon arrival we noticed there weren't enough beach chairs for the 3 of us. We texted Byron and "voilà"... he brought us 2 more. He was gracious enough to bring them over himself while we were around as opposed to entering the property in our absence...not that we would've minded it anyway. On top of the awesome daily rate we paid, one other thing that mattered to us in choosing this property was the free parking they offered...if you have a car rental, that is a must, unless you want to pay anywhere from 25 to 45 bucks a day. The condo is located on the 24th floor and you can see the ocean straight ahead, and a little bit of the Diamond Head on the left-hand side, if views matter to you. We barely spent any time in the apartment, apart from sleeping 😊. We recommend this property as it’s available to rent on a daily rate basis, and not monthly as one may find while searching. You are also very close, like walking distance to the Waikiki Beach and all the hustle and bustle that comes with it, or to the Zoo on the opposite direction.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, this condo suited our needs just fine as my family vacationed while I worked in the area. The location is great, within walking distance to all of the sights and restaurants in and around Waikiki. The neighbors were quiet, so it was peaceful. The AC worked well and there was a nice breeze from the trade winds during the day. The partial ocean view was great. The kitchen is adequately stocked for basic cooking/eating for 4 people. We left 3 additional beach chairs (2 are included and quite worn out) and 1 additional umbrella (1 provided in great condition) for families to use if renting this unit. The beds are a top mattress on a raised wooden platform and pretty firm. The bathtub edge is quite high, so you need to be limber when climbing in. It was nice that the sofa in the living room pulled out to make a queen bed and linens were provided in the closet. Captain Cook Real Estate and Byron, the property manager, were a breeze to work with. It is a great value for your money compared to the hotel market in Waikiki.
