"Quiet place"

"The owners did masterful work restoring this home yet paid so much attention in providing up-to-date amenities that people have come to expect. Every convenience was thought of and there were wonderful treats and surprises at every turn. I particularly enjoyed their love of the Hudson River School and all of the lovely artwork represented from room to room. Local history is honored in the house and their knowledge of it is vast. "

"We had a great stay up and away from Rt 9. Lynn made us feel right at home. We started each day with the coffee perc she setup for before us (a feat: we wake up early). The golden spud cafe being right down the road was quite nice to have access to."

"Our stay was rather disappointing. The property seems neglected. Some lightbulbs in the bathroom were not working . The coffee maker was really filthy inside. Instead of breakfast we were offered some packaged pastry from a gas station. Plus, there were a bunch of insects in the room. There was no drinking water in the property we ended up driving to get water. I don’t understand they can charge so much money "

The Tin Brook was absolutely perfect for our Mother's Day trip to the Catskills--and we weren't even supposed to be there, because it was actually closed. We had our pick of rooms and chose the top of the house, which was more than enough space for the three of us. "This house is located minutes from the highway making it easy to get to. Its a very scenic and country area so you feel farther away then you are. The house is extremely clean and well appointed it sits up high on a hill so you can enjoy the veiw of the country house across the street which has a small creek and gardens to enjoy theres even a pool to enjoy in summer months and a fire pit .this house was peaceful and perfect for the quick weekend getaway that we all needed.
