"The house is a 10/10. Very comfortable with a huge porch! Right on the Mountain Fork River just far enough east of Broken Bow to be secluded. It is in a new neighborhood so there was construction noise next door, even on Saturday. Hopefully those houses will be complete soon. Use Google or Waze maps - Apple Maps has the wrong location. There is a train at the Tyson mill that can block Red Arrow Rd, if so use Box Turtle Rd. There is also a very sweet cat that hangs around on the patio and insists...

"Melinda was wonderful. She began communicating with me as soon as I made the reservation. I ended up arriving later than expected but the address was easy to read from the road so I had no issues. I was pleasantly surprised by all the coffee supplies Melinda had in the refrigerator. The motion activated lights on the stairs were a thoughtful touch. I will most definitely recommend checking out Mel's Place if you need somewhere to stay in De Queen!"

"Dana was an absolutely great hostess! Anything we needed, she provided. The area was breathtaking. The cabin was spotless. It was located so closely to Beavers Bend, without all the traffic. "My wife and I stayed here for our belated 25th wedding anniversary and loved almost everything about this home! I must say "almost" just because of the flying insects that made their way into the cabin's bedroom, but outside of that, it was immaculate and spotless, and the host was extremely responsive! The owners thought of everything which is so rare with most rentals. I highly suggest renting this cabin the next time you're in Broken Bow."

"The house was very clean and exactly as it was listed. We did have trouble getting our check in information and had to spend over an hour calling Evolve to get the information. So I suggest getting that squared away well before you get there. Other than that we had a great time at the house. It was a little dark though. It could use some more lights."
