They reached out while I was off property to let me know I left my car lights ( flashers) on accidentally and they could provide a jump start should I need one ( which thankfully I did not). “We paid the premium to stay at Key West Cottages as compared to other properties in Chincoteague because of the location, property amenities and all of the great reviews. With two young kids we wanted a place we could relax and enjoy without having a schedule or planning too many activities around the island. It met and even exceeded our expectations. We saw them clean the pool each morning and walk around the property to do daily maintenance to keep the property pristine. We all loved the pool……

“Bathroom was nasty! Door was locked in and couldn’t close it. Tub was so dirty and faucets were corroding. Gap on bottom of front door and bugs got in. Will never stay again!”

“The room was clean at first look. But the air conditioner vent was dirty (I cleaned it) and there were cobwebs above the curtain, but that was it. There was a busted floor tile and they glued it down, there was also a threshold thing that was sticking up that I scraped my foot on (didn't cut me). Pool was very nice, just aged.”

“We had a great overnight stay after the Crab & Cruise. The room was clean and nice-sized, the bed was super comfortable, and it was quiet. The only issue I had was that I wish there was an iron in the room and that we were told at check in that we would have to sign it out at the front desk. Otherwise, EXCELLENT stay!!”
