My first experienced with Embqssy Suites was on a trip to detroit. Excellent service at the airport and the breakfast exceeded our expectations. My second trip was to Nashville. Beautiful facility and once again breakfast was great. Unfortunately my third visit to Hot Springs for a girls trip did not meet my expectations. On our first night we noticed ripped curtains on the bay window in the room. The next morning afer breakfast, we noticed the cleanning personnel in our room. I made requests for additional towels and two more blankets. We left. Upon our return after going to Lake Hamilton for the day, the only thing we received was one blanket. Our beds were not made up, the floor was not vaccumed. The pull out sofa was intact but was clearly used and not made up. I went downstairs to inform the front desk. She asked did I want them to come now to take care of the matter? I sano because after our day and dinner we were ready for bed. She put in my request for more towels and that was it. Breakfast was not so good. My egg white mushroom and spinach omelet was watery as was the oatmeal. I still love the brand and this location is in need of a serious remodel. The furniture in the lobby also had many obvious tears. As far as the staff that assisted with breakfast they were good but housecleaning apparently is not motivated to do their job. Appreciation of what the staff does hopefully will motivate them to do their job well.

I love the spa treatments my husband and I try visiting once a year. The hotel is always clean, friendly staff, the best breakfast and wait staff ever. However the beds may need to be updated because sleeping was very difficult . The bed was uncomfortable hard there was no support it felt like you would sink into the bed whenever you laid down.

This is an older hotel in need of attention. Our room had stains on the carpet and shower curtain. Kitchenette sink has a faucet in need of repair and a slow drain. Bathroom has damage to the baseboard level tile. In terms of cleanliness, the shower curtain had a nasty mildew smell, there was soap residue on the soap tray in the shower. We had booked a room for four people and only 3 towels were provided. We were turned away for service at the hotel restaurant because the kitchen was "backed up." There is very little parking on the hotel property. They charge you $10 a day for parking regardless, and you have to tell them to take it off your bill at checkout if you had to park elsewhere and walk, which we did. I would not stay here again.

Staff was just really phoning it in this round. Negative attitudes. Slow moving. Not helpful. Closed breakfast bar 20 mins earlier than advertised. We called at bedtime for an extra blanket and they said they would bring it up. It never came.

Let me start by saying our family usually stays at Embassy’s if they’re available. This one, unfortunately is at the bottom of the list. We got in at 1pm, not expecting our room to be ready, it wasn’t. Came back at 5pm to a line that was about 10 people deep. Finally got to the desk, room STILL not ready. Claimed they were short staffed in housekeeping. (This is THE theme of this hotel). So I got right back in the 10 person check in line again. (Only 2 people checking people in) Carla was the wonderful lady that I got this time, she made sure our room was ready. Big shout out to her. Clarification, The people that were working were very hard working & pleasant!! I believe the problem is with management. Positive: we booked a corner suite & it was huge. I read reviews before we arrived that the hotel was dated & after staying here, I concur! We had an ant infestation in ours. For fear of having to wait for a new room we would just smush them everytime we saw them. I know mgmt reads these, so, head on up to Rm 704 on the counter above fridge, you’ll see them along the wall. Breakfast was equally as frustrating as check in. They had 1 chef cooking omelets for the whole hotel. Again, they worked as hard as they could. But, come on, get at least 2 back there! And don’t come at me with the red, green & yellow busy times. We were there at 7am one morning & 8:20 the next. Same issue both times. I could keep going but I’m out of characters! Easy fix! Mgmt!!!

Close to downtown Hot Springs but needs an update, ESPECIALLY in previous smoking rooms. We were told the hotel has been all nonsmoking for five years, but the room we stayed in smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. Unfortunately there were no rooms available for a change, and it was very evident they were understaffed for the spring break week. A single employee was checking it multiple groups while also trying to run the small shop, and respond to other guest concerns. Breakfast was very very slow with mediocre selection due to multiple options being out. Generally have really liked our stays with Embassy Suites, but would not return to this location.

This was a family friendly hotel for a reasonable budget. Our room smelled stale and was quite dusty such as layer of dust on tv and hairy sediment on lampshades. Sink in kitchenette had a greasy film. Tile on bathroom wall was broken and some parts missing and tub had black stains. Bathroom floor has rust spots. Carpet felt gritty and dirty. 2 of the outlets didn’t seem to work. Also, the window was cloudy and smeared. We went to the pool to find one towel available for 2 of us to use.

The hotel is starting to show its age. The toilet in my room was broken and the room phone was filthy. The pool hasn’t been cleaned in so long that every top row tile has graffiti carved in the scum. Loved the bar.
